In 2014 Dr. Pai was 3 minutes behind the ambulance that brought me in with a MI - blocked RCA. He had me in the cath lab within minutes of my arrival. He beat my wife to the ER. She wanted to talk to me and he only let her walk down the hall as they wheeled me away, but would not let her have a minute with me. She was a bit miffed. But I had a full blockage and as he said time was not my friend. He had a stent in place in the time it usually takes to get admitted. The echocardiogram the next day showed absolutely no damage to the cardiac muscle due to the speed of the diagnosis and treatment. He is also a very spiritual man. He is a loving person and cares deeply about his patients. He is the best doctor I've had in 67 years. The fact that he is board-certified in Internal Medicine in addition to Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology gives him a broad understanding of the bigger picture. He is the only cardiologist I will ever use.

I am very happy after my first visit with Dr. Pai. He took the time to explain to me all my test and what the next step that needs to be done. I highly recommend him if you are looking for a doctor that is there for you. Willing to take the time and answer all your questions. And his staff is very nice.

Dr Pai is so personable & caring. He takes time & addresses any concerns I have in a way that eases my angst & I never feel rushed. He seems to genuinely care about me. He is associated with Methodist Hospital West so I feel confident with his advice, which he explains in detail and which is always logical to me. I adore this guy!

I went to the Cardiology Center of Houston on recommendation of my brother and sister in law. Dr. Pai is there along with Dr. Randep Suneja. I found right away that I liked Dr. Pai because of his manner and thorough exams and care(no arrogance in the man; doesn't treat his patients like cattle). I thought I was fine but on Jan. 7th Dr. Pai found I needed a pacemaker. He sent me to the hospital right then and I got a pacemaker that afternoon. I believe Dr. Pai saved my life.
