List of Robert Vanzant's Reviews
Dr. Vanzant has been my primary care physician for the last 6 years. Each experience and interaction with him and the Village Medical staff has been superb. The scheduling process is quick and easy. The wait times are minimal and the Mason Rd. facility is top notch. Lastly (and most importantly!), his experience and care are always assuring and I never have any reservations towards any care plan he assigns to me. I highly recommend Dr. Vanzant.
DO NOT USE THIS DOCTOR! HE'S EXTREMELY JUDGEMENTAL AND VERY RUDE AND LACKS INTEGRITY. HE DOES NOT HAVE GOOD WORK ETHIC. HE REFUSES TO COMMUNICATE WITH YOU. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH HIM!
THIS DOCTOR IS EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESIONAL. HE ASSUMES AND JUDGES YOU. HE NEEDS TO RETIRE. HE REFUSES TO COMMUNICATE AND PLAYS GAMES. STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR!
Avoid Dr. VanZant at all costs. I don't understand how such an experienced cardiologist continues to make mistakes on one patient that nearly cost him his life. His medical license should be revoked as he is unfit to be in charge of any individuals health. Makes inappropriate jokes in an attempt to cover up the fact that he does not know what he is doing. Pathetic
I don't even know if Dr. Vanzant knows that his billing department is ruining his reputation. I ask for Dr. Vanzant to call me about a double billing I received. I went in for a Medicare "wellness visit" that I know is covered by Medicare 100%. His billing department billed Medicare and my personal insurance almost $1000. The wellness visit was a cover for double billing patients. This practice kicked in a deductible that I should not have incurred.
Dr. Vanzant is an amazing doctor! He is easy to talk to, is very thorough and takes the time to listen to you and answer questions!
I love Dr. Vanzant. He is a caring, listening doctor who considers my whole health. Village family practice however, is causing me to find another doctor. The support staff are rude and non-caring when you call. They seem to go out of their way to make your transaction as difficult as possible. I called this morning for the 4th time just to get information on a past visit and they were laughing in the background that it was me again after they hung up on me twice. I am switching doctors since the support staff don't want to support his patients. Goodby Village Family Practice. I guess it takes a different village to provide good healthcare services.
Appointments are easy to schedule, office is immaculate, Dr. VanZant is very courteous, kind, and keeps me informed.
My wife, our 2 daughters, and I started with Dr. VanZant in 1977, the year he began his practice and he has served as our family physician since then. Here are our experiences: O he has always been available when we had a need O his diagnoses and treatments have always been accurate and responsive O he is prompt and timely with our appointments O we've relied on him with all of our health needs from colds to cancer O he is a good listener O he is patient focused O he has never ordered unnecessary testing or procedures O is current with medical technology and best practices All-in-all he is a wonderful family physician; one who we have referred family and close friends.
All the doctor want is MONEY!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
