I received a phone call informing me that I was required to wear a mask before entering the building. I said I didn't approve of the mask mandate and felt it was politics instead of medicine being practiced and I requested "please cancel my appointment". The help began schooling me on the importance of my appointment so I asked for a prescription for the device to be sent to my pharmacy. The help went on a short tirade and canceled my appointment.

This is my second appointment with the doctor on may 2021 I went to my appointment as scheduled filled out the paperwork i needed to finish filling out so last week I didn't need money so I though I wouldn't need any because my medicare covered it the first time thank God because I live on a fixed income well needless to say I didn't have $36.00 so right there on the sopt they canceled my appt I said I get. My check on the 3rd I can bring it than she said well than we'll get you a new appt than. I never new my life depended on thirty six dollars I did not know Dr.mcDowell was not a compassinet Dr . That make her a money hungry Dr. So I won't go back to that so called Dr. You are a sorry excuse for a Dr.

The current staff is efficient and Dr. McDowell has reviewed all labs & info by the time she comes in the room. She is detailed & thorough--all business. Patients leave with a detailed "homework sheet" that provides details of her assessment & instructions if there are any. I am very confident in her care.

She and the office staff were courteous, prompt and took the time necessary to answer our questions. So glad we got an excellent kidney doctor here in Kerrville. Completely satisfied. Would definitely recommend.
