I moved to Texas 4 years ago, I’ve had Ulcerative Colitis since my early 30’s, I’m 64 now, Like many people I’ve had a tough time with It. I can’t say enough about Dr.Rachal and his staff are fantastic, He takes the time to talk with you and when you have a colonoscopy ( I’ve had Many) his nurses take great care of you. Thank You Dr. Rachal and your entire staff for caring about your patients. Craig

I’ve been going to Dr Rachal for 7 years. First in Fredericksburg and then when he moved to Kerrville. I hated going into his office in Fredericksburg because the office staff was rushed and they herded you through like cattle. He has always been great. Now that he is at Peterson in Kerrville, it’s much better. I love his staff - they are caring, nice and fun! Dr Rachal is not only brilliant, he is thoughtful and really funny. He knows more than most docs about so much more than gastro. He is my favorite doc and one of my favorite people!

Dr. Rachel is one of two doctors responsible for my being alive. He diagnosed a cancer early enough that all could be removed surgically. That was eight years ago. He can be a bit gruff, but he is an excellent and caring physician and he is willing to take the time to explain and answer any questions.

Dr Rachael is a honest and will answer your questions .I trust him 100 percent. He never makes you feel rushed. I have put my trust in him since he came to the Texas Hill Country .i have found his staff friendly and helpful.

I had a colonoscopy scheduled for 9:30 and the procedure did not start until 11:15! After waiting for almost an hour in the pre-op room with no explanation on the delay, I was finally told the procedure before mine was taking longer than expected. My belief is that Dr. Rachel schedules too many procedures in one day, with not enough time allocated between each one. One of the nurses even hinted that this was the case. If you schedule a colonoscopy with him, be prepared for a possibly long wait!
