Dr. Barrington is a highly skilled professional in her field, and you can tell that saving lives through medicine is her passion. She keeps up with the latest studies and treatment protocols, is caring and compassionate, a good listener and able to explain things well. Her staff is well-trained and friendly. She fearlessly takes on recalcitrant insurance companies and works hard to find grants to help offset the financial burden of treatment. One of the best specialists I've ever known. I feel relieved to be in her care.

Dr Barrington and all of her staff made me feel like I was the most important patient they have. Answered all my questions, didn’t make me feel like I had to hurry and get thru my appointment. Dr B is is awsome.

Dr Barrington is an extremely knowledgeable doctor & does an excellent job of explaining whatever the medical question is! I always can count on her to keep me educated & informed. Dr. Barrington is a knowledgeable, caring physician. She takes the time to thoroughly explain the diagnosis and the treatment and I have confidence in her medical knowledge and opinions. Texas Oncology, on the other hand, is a hot mess. The front desk and the scheduler often, if not always, set an unfriendly tone. Additionally, it is impossible to communicate directly with the Kerrville office. All communications go through a central number in San Antonio (hold times often in excess of 30 minutes) and it takes repeated calls to get any sort of response. I have had numerous occasions where follow up communications needed to be made to other caregivers on my team and those communications were not made. I don’t mind being proactive in my own care, but hitting a brick wall with Texas Oncology is beyond frustrating. Members of the local staff also recognize and are frustrated by these corporate shortcomings. I wish I could recommend Texas Oncology, but I cannot.

Dr. Barrington is the most caring and empathetic doctor that I've been to. She makes me feel I'm the only patient she is helping that day.

If I could give six stars I would. I'm a physician assistant who was diagnosed with a rare cancer in December 2021. I originally saw a large group in San Antonio and the Dr. I saw was not up to date on my particular malignancy and offered the wrong treatment. Being a medical professional, I contacted a physician I had worked with and She recommended Dr. Barrington in Kerrville. Dr. Barrington was up to date and I can't say enough about her professionalism, bedside manner as well as her humanistic personality in treating me as a person not just a patient! My own personal experience with Dr.Rebecca Barrington is she is very sweet, caring, professional with her patients. She does everything in her authority to give you the number one treatment for your type of cancer. Her PA is out of this this world as well. Her crew from insurance to nurses are all sweet caring. They helped me during my chemo, my mother chemo and was there to help anyway needed when my mom passed away.

The staff is very professional and friendly. Dr. Barrington is not only concerned with the lab results but all aspects of your life that affect your health. I know I am in good hands at this clinic. I am so happy that this one is located in Kerrville, TX only 20 minutes from Comfort where I live.
