I needed my second hip replaced, 7 years after my other one. I knew the symptoms and was well aware of what the future held. I saw Dr. Veurink who now performs the anterior approach, same as my first. X rays confirmed the issue and after a good discussion of risk/reward with the Dr, I had the surgery scheduled. Recovery was/is amazing. Walking in 1 day, off walker in 4. The only pain meds I've taken are acetaminophen; not out of masochism, I just haven't needed them! I don't yet have the dressing off but am ambling around easily and painlessly. I have started physical therapy and anticipate being as good as new in a very short period of time. If in doubt, I hope this reassures you.

Excellent orthopedic doctor. I did a hip replacement with Dr. Veurink and all aspects of the process were superior in performance. He gets my strong recommendation as the doctor to use for ortho issues.

Dr Veurink is professional and knowledgeable in his field. I would strongly recommend him and his staff for any orthopedic surgery or visits. It’s hard to find a doctor and office personnel that are friendly, added bonus!!

Dr Veurink is an awesome ortho surgeon. He repaired my Achilles’ tendon and later replaced my knee. Both surgeries went perfectly and my recovery has been great! Key is to follow his advice! His medical and office team is friendly and helpful. Dr. Veurink is friendly, tells you straight what to expect and very thorough in his explanations.
