Steven Gaglio Rivas's Online Review Report Card

Went it for my normal 6 month cleaning, new hygienist. Rude hygienist. Announces to me that I have not had x-rays in 1 year and 1 month and today I will be required to see the dentist and get x-rays because "ITS THE LAW". Lol No, actually yearly x-rays are not the law. There are no laws involving the length of time one can go without dental x-rays. And, here's a newsflash for you, I see the dentist every single time I get my teeth cleaned by the hygienist because that part IS THE LAW. If you are self employed, and already can't afford your health insurance but have to have health insurance because "it's the law" but can't afford the extra dental, this unprofessional practice hits you with a hefty bill for those unnecessary x-rays. If you have dental insurance, rest assured they are ripping it off. Please go here or continue going here if you enjoy bullying and fraud. I would give minus ten stars if I could. My teeth are MINE. I don't want radiation im my healthy mouth so you can pad your bill. I will say the receptionist is lovely and so was my old hygienist. The dentist is rude, and to save money, he probably hired his daughter.

We are on the road traveling through the southwest and needed to get my 5 yr old in to check on a cavity. I did a quick google search and was able to quickly get in for a visit at Kerrville Family Dental. The whole office staff was very friendly and Dr. Rivas was absolutely wonderful with my daughter. He took time to interact with her, ask her questions and make her feel comfortable before looking at her teeth. He was very thorough in explaining everything and making sure that all of our questions were answered. I always feel a little nervous when finding a new dentist, but this was a great experience with a very family friendly dentist. If we lived in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to make Dr. Rivas our family dentist!

Dr. Rivas is an awesome dentist. He gives the best shots never feel a thing He is gentle and compassionate . He explains everything he is doing He takes the fear out of your visit. His staff is very friendly,efficient and accommodating. What's not to like!

My new favorite dentist! No wait time, staff was very friendly and professional, and hygienist was very gentle. I've never had a dentist who took the time and really explained everything to me. The hygienist took pictures of my problem teeth and put them up on a screen, and the dentist explained what was going on with then and what needed to be done to fix them. I really appreciated this.

Dr. Rivas is kind, gentle, personable, honest, and extremely knowledgeable in the field of dentistry. I trust him completely with all of my dental needs.
