The first time I went there I was charged about 90$ i had no insurance. When I went back i was charged 158$ BECAUSE I HAD INSURANCE words direct from the girls mouth but that it would go against my deductible. I went back and was told i owed nothing nada.3weeks later i got a bill for 58$.just went back and was told because I had a high deductible it would be 98 for visit today.some kind of business. They won't see me again and the bill they claim i owe they can shove that
I really like this place of business. I get treated nice. Everyone is so nice.
I brought my son here to get sutured for a gash on his cheek. Lisa Sanders is the one who we saw, and she suggested we glue it instead of sutures. Which was fine with me. The only issue is the gash is not pulled back together… it looks like all they did was put glue over the gash and put strips over it. I asked her twice if it was pulled together because it didn’t look like it. She assured me it was but when we get to the car and I looked at it I could tell it was not. I took my son back in and asked if there was another doctor there who could look at it. They said Lisa was the only one working and I asked if she could look at it again. They put us in a room and as soon as she walked in she was irritated that we were back. When I voiced my concerns about it not being pulled together and told her it wasn’t going to work as it was, I was belittled and berated and told that I would be the one to pull the steri strips off his face because she would not. And if I wasn’t happy I could go somewhere else. I told her we would be going somewhere else. I called his pedi and was told there was nothing they could do at this point because nothing can dissolve the glue. Fast forward about an hour after we leave the urgent care and I get a call from Lisa asking if I have any questions as if nothing ever happened. It was extremely awkward and uncomfortable. This has been pretty upsetting as it’s on his face and going to leave a pretty bad scar now which could have been avoided if it was done correctly.
We have always used them, but this time being on a Saturday my husband was told that due to his Medicare insurance that they can not see him without a referral from his doctor. Now tell me, this is an Urgent Care, that is open on a Saturday when doctors office isn't, HOW IS HE TO GET A REFERRAL??????? WON'T USE THEM EVER AGAIN!!!!!! Apparently they don't care about people.
Booking an appointment was easy online, the provider was nice to my 18-year-old college son who is doing this for the first time on his own. The issue is the medication was sent to the wrong pharmacy. He put the CVS in Longview and they sent it to Kilgore and the Kilgore one does not open till 9 a.m. When I called for the 2nd time I am told it will be 10 minutes before they can even ask the provider to resend it. My son was there at 7 am for an appointment so he would not be late or miss his class at 925am. This was NOT our error and was the clinics, the receptionist, Tiffany, seemed annoyed when I asked how long it would take for this to be corrected since he has class at 9:25 am, he is a student-athlete and already misses for his away games, and needs to be present in class for his engineering. I am a nurse so it is not hard to call and correct this but apparently timely is not something you can ask for because it will take 10 minutes for them to ask the provider and then I have to wait however long it takes them to fix it. This is NOT acceptable it is UC and he is sick!!!!!!!!!
Just had a very bad experience with these people. They would not accept my insurance for some reason, but could not give me an explanation. I have 3 kids and all of them have been to this office this year already 2023, March & April. My insurance has not changed. My wife took our son up there to be seen, but the lady behind the counter looked at our insurance card and said we don't accept that. And would not offer any kind of explanation. My wife then went outside and called me, I was at home with our other 2 kids. She told me what happened, I asked her to go back in and ask why they would not take our insurance now, when they did a few months ago. When my wife walked in, the lady behind the counter got up and went to get Dr. Linus Medley. I was on the phone in her hand while he told my wife that there was nothing they could do, that they didn't take our insurance. He was very rude and demeaning. My wife asked if they would look up when our kids were there last, but they ignored her request and said it didn't matter. Mr. Medley kept talking over my wife which made her upset and heated. She left, and then I called the office to try and get an explanation. I called once, and nobody answered. I waited a few minutes and called back. Mr. Medley answered this time like this, "Hello!". He did not introduce himself or the facility. It sounded like he knew it was me or my wife, probably because of caller ID. He was rude with me and would not answer my questions. He kept saying he didn't know much about that, kept talking over me, or just ignored my questions. He did give me the billing department phone number, and then said, "this conversation is over, call someone else." Then promptly hung up on me.
Best ever I have seen.Kind ,professional, and fast. I wish it was like here ,everywhere.
Just had a bad experience with the front desk lady and Dr. Medley. they said that they do not accept our insurance and would not give any explanation when my wife said that our 3 kids had all been there this year, 2023, 2 in March and the other in April. I called to try and get an explanation, my first call was not answered, and my second call was answered by Mr. Medley. He answered like this, "Hello!". he did not introduce himself or the facility. it sounded like he knew it was me or my wife calling, probably caller ID. he was rude and demeaning to me and my wife. he would not answer my questions, only saying that he didn't know much about that and that there was nothing he could do. most of the conversation was him speaking over me or ignoring me. he ended our conversation like this, "our conversation is over, call someone else."
I highly recommend. Will definitely be coming back here when I need a doctor
Very professional, carefully analyzed my medical history before recommending treatment then discussed the recommended treatment

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
