This doctor is questionable in his bedside manner.

Avoid this place! Drive to CC and save time and frustration. They are SLOW. Time stands still here. They could care less about the patients time.

Dr Hemmert has been our doctor for the past 3 years and I have not have any problems with him or the staff. Any time we need refills or have questions one of the nurse will call me before the end of the day. We are happy with them.

Worst place ever… I called a day before and asked for the blood work hours. They told me 7am - 3 pm. I show up at 9am. I call, they tell me ( we are done doing blood work. We stopped at 8 am) There we changes late yesterday afternoon they said!!! When I called the day before, I told the receptionist if there are any changes, can I leave my phone number so you can contact me and let me know? She said ...

Joe is amazing at understanding your problems and helping you get what you need. My only issue is the office will never refill your prescriptions unless you call and bug them. It doesn't matter to them that those meds keep you alive they will act like it's not their problem but it is because you're their patient, and they will always blame the pharmacy for not putting in the refills.

This Dr.s office will not see your child if they have 99.2 fever and vomiting. You're better off taking them to another doctors office. If there was an option for zero stars I would give them that. Thank you.

I was a little unsure because of the bad star rating, but I gave it a shot and I've always had a positive experience here. I came in as a walk-in and got seen very quickly when I had the flu back in October. As an education student, they are very helpful for the mandatory TB tests as well, since you can get the results on a Saturday. Very professional!

Employees don't know anything: simple questions, nothing. They don't even care to book appts or try to help when you need medical care, and that is what they get paid for. Very lazy. Won't be going here. Take the drive out to Alice or Corpus if you must see a doctor.

Dr. Hemmert has been a wonderful doctor to my elderly parents. He is patient and explains everything very thoroughly. He takes his time and lets them explain all their concerns. The only problem is that he had so many patients that it is hard to get in to see him and even with an appointment you often have to wait a long time.

Dr. Hemmert is an absolutely horrible doctor who had no sympathy for my situation and wasn't doing or prescribing anything to help. He just told me "Well, you seem to have some major issues." Yeah as if I didn't already know that! Why else would I be here?! And get this - every question that I asked, he took out his phone from his pocket and googled the answer. Why am I going to pay for a doctor to google answers when I already was doing that at home? Unbelievable. Waste of time and money. Find a different doctor!
