​Rating: 1/5 Stars To Clinic Management, Practice Leadership, and Dr. Cameron Perez: Ten years ago, I survived a catastrophic car accident where the vehicle rolled over five times and I was ejected. I live with multiple permanent steel surgical plates from extensive hip reconstruction. I am a mother of six children who depend on me daily, but my unmanaged pain has progressively worsened to the point where I am struggling just to get through a normal day, keep up with my household, and care for my family. The agonizing pain stripped away my ability to stay mobile, which naturally caused me to gain a little bit of weight. ​I came to Dr. Cameron Perez’s office simply asking for a referral to pain management so I could get my life back and function for my children. ​Instead of receiving help, the Nurse Practitioner I saw flat out refused the referral and completely dismissed my trauma history. She reverse-engineered the entire problem, claiming my weight is the cause of my pain—ignoring the clear reality that years of escalating, unmanaged pain took away my movement and caused the weight gain in the first place. She simply told me that if I lost weight, I wouldn't be in pain. Telling a trauma patient with permanent steel plates holding her hip together that "losing weight will cure the pain"—while refusing the very referral that would make movement possible—is medically illogical, dismissive, and deeply neglectful. ​To make matters worse, the office informed me that the staff member responsible for referrals is "completely overwhelmed and way behind." A complex patient in severe physical distress is not only blocked by a mid-level provider practicing backwards medicine, but then left stranded by the clinic’s internal administrative breakdown. ​Dr. Perez and practice leadership need to look closely at the supervision, clinical standards, and gatekeeping happening in this office. Because this clinic chose to lecture a mother of six about the bathroom scale rather than provide a basic referral for catastrophic orthopedic trauma, I have no choice but to take my healthcare elsewhere and file a formal grievance with my insurance carrier.

Dr Carmen is an amazing doctor but There’s a girl who is usually sitting up front. She has very long black hair, and she’s super rude. Most of the time, she talks to you sarcastically and is very disrespectful.

STOP 🛑 STAY AWAY DR CARMEN PEREZ AND HER FNP LAURIE ROMAN . My daughter went there for primary care and HELP ! She DID NOT LISTEN OR ORDER ANY TESTS JUST GO TO THE HOSPITAL NO ORDERS NO PAPERWORK ! Hospital staff doesn’t know what to do and this Fake Nurse Practitioner needs to get a NEW JOB OR GO TO THE REVIEW BOARD ! And They do not care .

Been a patient several years service now days very poor Been trying to get my refills on my medication called for last 3 days said they were going to refills with heb called office 4 times told me it was going to get handled 2 days ago called again today still no refills out of medication unbelievable service the so called nurse very rude maybe I can get my medication refilled after posting this be aware

I WISH I COULD GIVE A -STAR! This office still disappoints, took my 94 year mother to see Lori PA, she didn't listen to anything I had told her prior to seeing my mother, didn't know my mother has dementia, and this should have been in the notes since she's had to for 3 yrs, she apoligzed said they system didn't transfer all the patient notes. What??? it should still be in my mom's personal history from the last two visits she could see. Ugh, today I looked at the notes from yesterday, what a joke, it's just the template no personal discussion noted, no mention of her current reason for appt. This is the last time I will take my mother or myself to this office. They are a liability. I have already reported them to the Medical Board a year ago, apparently they haven't changed. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND A DOCTOR WHO DOES THEIR JOB, AND HIRES OFFICE STAFF THAT CARE.

I have been a patient of Dr Perez for over 28 year. The best of the best and an excellent staff from front desk to behind the scenes. It's great to walk in and they call me by my name.

I’m so disappointed with their service ; the staff is no help and also a certain doctor .

Dr Perez use to be a great doctor now she’s just ok. She hires horrible staff! You can rarely get someone on the phone! Her front desk to her nurse practitioners are horrible!!! I hope she reads these reviews and straightens up things at her office.

They never answer their phone . I’ve been calling for a week now and no one answers. This goes for the scheduling and referral department.
