I feel like I dodged a bullet. Was admitted to hospital from ER as a hernia repair patient. Dr. Kocay could not even properly read a standard blood test in order to perform surgery. The hematologist said he would have likely administered the incorrect medicine following the surgery and it would have led to blood clots. Dr. Kocay stated the hospital didn't have the supplies he needed but he would work with what they had on hand. So thankful I decided to go with a different surgeon.

Dr Kocay and his assistant are the best! I had to reschedule twice. When I went in today his assistant ( sorry forgot her name) already had most of my paperwork filled out. Dr Kocay explained my ultrasound results as he was performing the ultrasound. His explanations were easy to understand and complete. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

Dr. Kocay is the best doctor that I've ever used. He went way above what most Doctors would do in my case and could have very easily allowed another surgeon to do the procedure. Dr Kocay removed a very large tumor from my shoulder which required an incision about 2” long. He was very careful about not ruining my tattoo. I cannot believe how well it turned out. After 10 days I can barely tell that I had surgery. There is hardly any scar at all, the man has skills. If I ever have to have surgery again he will be holding the scalpel. All of the staff was very helpful with insurance and polite as well. Thank you Dr Kocay, after 10 years I finally have a normal looking shoulder.

I saw Dr. Kocay about a decade ago. I had a back cyst and he removed it. As he was doing the surgery he spoke not at all as I lay face down. He did not seem to numb me at all or so little I could feel everything and I do not consider myself particularity sensitive to pain. It was quite painful and his assistant was grim faced woman who also did not speak. It was a very unpleasant experience. Also because he did not remove the entire cyst sac, the whole thing has now come back and I must have it re-removed.

Dr. Kocay and the wonderful ladies who work with him are so welcoming, caring, supportive, and go above and beyond in care. I had to have an emergency procedure following the birth of my daughter. They took such good care of me and dealing with my insurance. They also understood my beliefs in breastfeeding, so I was able to nurse my baby until I went under. Everything is quick, but more than efficient. I highly recommend this office for your needs.

My wife recently had to have two hernias repaired. We couldn’t have found a better surgeon in Dr. Kocay or his staff, Cat and Sue. We felt like we were part of their family. The follow up my wife received, was as if she was their number one priority. I recommend them highly!!

My primary care physician found a lump and sent me to Kocay for testing. Kocay removed the lump then performed three surgeries to close the incision. He had no idea what he was doing. He wanted to perform a fourth and I went to a second surgeon who was appalled at what had been done to me. The new surgeon had me healed in one week.
