List of Urology Austin's Reviews
The doctor was great. The office staff, not so much. more than an hour wait on the phone. Texts don't go through and email is a waste of time.
The absolute WORST experience I've ever had. It gets worser each time you return. The staff are incompetent and unprofessional, with a few exceptions of the friendly front desk staff. Save yourself the time and hassle. Go somewhere else!!
Check in was easy and my NP Lucy was incredibly helpful.
May be a great Urology provider but chances are I’ll never know. Never could get an appointment even tho I waited40 minutes on hold..twice what I waited the first time I called
You can never get a call through in less than an hour wait. I have been waiting on surgery scheduler for days. I had a in office visit 4 days ago and still waiting on prescription! I would never recommend.
The doctors are great, but it is impossible to get to speak to someone without 15 minute hold times or messages that are not returned. Also, they ordered a CT scan “stat.” I had the scan at 10am on a Friday. ARA said the dr should have the results in 2 hours. I called and left a message once with no return call. I called again later in the afternoon and was told that they didn’t have the results yet. I asked them if they could call ARA to see what the hold up was. I was told “No. When they show up in our system, we’ll have them.” They left me hanging all weekend with a possible kidney stone. Monday morning at 11.30 & I still haven’t heard from them. Left another message. I can not believe the incompetence! DO NOT use this office!
Don’t waste your time with this place. Had to cancel a vasectomy twice because they wouldn’t tell me how much the procedure would cost me. I called probably a dozen times through out appointments trying to get this simple info. The lady answering the phones didn’t seem to care. What a joke of an office.
I have to say this is the medical office with the worst customer service that I have been in all my life. -they give you medication without proper training on how to use it -they never answer the phone unless it is to schedule an appointment or pay bills. -they take weeks to send a preauthorization form to the insurance. If you were sick before coming to this doctor, you will become worse by the stress this office will give you!
Probably the worst staff I've ever dealt with in a medical office. Wish I had read the reviews before I chose them. They will lie to you about your deductible and constantly cancel and rebook your appointment. Avoid this place if you can.
Austin Urology, Kyle TX location: This clinic is absolutely unorganized, poor communication, and lacks the knowledge of basic skills to handle appointments. I had a vasectomy scheduled and had to constantly keep calling for updates and requests pertaining to my prescription prior to surgery. Long story short, the clinic never submitted my prescription and had the audacity to say that it’s the clients responsibility to request these prescriptions 45minutes before the procedure. With this type of organization and poor skills, i am so grateful that I didn’t take another step into this office. I wasted my PTO, my wife wasted her PTO to drive and take care of me, and I wasted money on childcare for this clinic to pull this BS 45min prior to surgery. Don’t come here at all, try another clinic that’s not sub par.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
