Dr. Lakow was on call when I had an emergency stay in the Hospital. I was so grateful that he was. My blood pressure was 210/110 and the first thing he did when he met me was make me laugh. Just what my worried /weary body needed. So when it came time for follow up I cancelled my regular cardiologist and started as a new patient with Dr. Lakow. Its been several years now and he has continued to be thorough, clear, compassionate and funny. My husband now sees him and I tell anyone who is unhappy with their cardio or just need another opinion see him. Bedside manner and clarity can't be beat!

Dr. Lakow is FANTASTIC to say the least. He takes all the time needed to work with me and explain my medical conditions, and what needs to be done to improve them. I HIGHLY recommend him.

This was a follow-up visit re recent examination and tests. Dr. Lakow was great, assuring me that there were no problems, that my blood pressure and cholesterol levels were normal, etc. I have recommended him to several of my friends.

Dr. Lakow is such a wonderful, caring doctor. He takes his time in explaining answers to all my questions and puts me at ease. His staff is just as wonderful as he is. His medical assistant Joann is always ready to answer questions and when I have to leave a message she returns my call promptly. If anyone is in need of a good cardiologist you can’t go wrong with Dr. Lakow and his staff.
