List of Naresh V Desireddi's Reviews
Dr Deserredi became my urologist after one of my kidneys failed. He had to perform a procedure which another doc had previously performed that left my ureter in shreds and caused extreme pain & severe infection. Dr Deserredi made sure beforehand that I had a trustworthy person accompanying me and had the correct anesthesia lined up (normally anesthesia causes me to vomit for days). He was very kind & gentle, and I had no pain, infection, or illness afterward, which I still appreciate to this day. He helped me through a very difficult time in my life medically and has a very good manner with patients as well as finding solutions to medical issues. He listened and helped with these medical problems and got me as healthy as was possible at the time. I highly recommend him
I had fears about going to the urologist, but my first visit to Dr. Desireddi's office made me feel better. Their office practices are organized and well thought out–I didn't wait long. The front office is very detailed and sets expectations very well. They told me up front what my visit would cost after insurance, and I really appreciate that transparency. The nurse and Dr. Desireddi had great bedside manner and I didn't feel rushed. I felt like he was looking after my best interests. Keep it up!
Dr. Desireddy is amazing knowledge with personal care and follow up. Highly recommend.
He is absolutely terrible. I had a legitimate urological issue that required surgery, but it was too small to see on a CT scan. He dismissed me entirely and told me to see a general surgeon instead of running more tests. The general surgeon said Dr. Desireddi made a huge mistake and sent me to another doctor at Urology Austin, who completed my surgery yesterday. Urology Austin is good, but Dr. Desireddi is NOT.
Unlike others, I had a great visit. I filled out the necessary forms online the day before my appointment (which they really appreciated), so once I got to the office it was a short wait. The staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Desireddi was on time, he listened to my symptoms, did the exam, and clearly explained the options I had in a manner where I felt like he wasn't trying to push drugs or expensive treatments on me. He was conservative, and I liked that. I really dislike going to doctors - especially a urologist - but I know I won't be dreading it so much next time!
Horrible on keeping appointments. I went in for a consult and that morning had been deferred to his NP instead. Then day of surgery I arrived over 20 min early and after refusing to pay until I was able to produce a urine sample I was then informed I would have to wait an hour after my scheduled appt. so he could see 2 other patients ahead of me!!!! Really!? I don't want someone that manages their day planner like him operating on me. I am glad I held off on payment!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Helped us to schedule our CT when the radiology hotline was being difficult. Dr Desireddi was quick and informative.
Everything the other reviews said....plus inserted testosterone pellets that later came out. Never had that with several other urologists, over many years.
Had three appointments and each time it took the staff two or three attempts to draw blood which resulted in bruising. Lack of bedside manner
The most chaotic appointment system I’ve ever seen. Terrible at explaining results or prognosis. Needs to think more about the patient than himself.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
