I had a distressing experience at the Lakeway location recently. I urgently needed treatment for a chronic condition, IC. Due to being a kidney donor, leaving it untreated could have severe consequences for my remaining kidney. I was seen by Dr. Desireddi’s Nurse Practitioner, Meredith Larue, at this location. After my visit, I was assured that my antibiotic prescription was being called when leaving the office, but two days later, and after making five phone calls (each with a 20-45 minute wait time), I still had no prescription. I spoke to several clinical staff members who claimed they had tried to contact the doctor and nurse practitioner to no avail. There was no response from them, even though they recognized the urgency of my prescription. The symptoms I experienced, including vomiting, headaches, lower back pain, and blood in my urine, could have been alleviated had I received the necessary medication promptly. This situation also posed a significant risk to my remaining kidney. I cannot express enough my disappointment and frustration with the negligence displayed by the medical staff in this situation. It is disheartening to encounter such a lack of urgency and communication in a medical setting where prompt treatment can make a crucial difference.

Customer service is awful. When you call, you will wait 20-30 minutes. When you schedule appointments, coordinate about what is going on, come back for results and they doing have them. Getting service is difficult with this company. Not recommended.

Lakeway office: Meredith LaRue is amazing. She listens, throughly investigates, educates you as a patient and is kind and caring. The staff at Lakeway seem like a family, they all seem to really enjoy being there and treat you like a person, not just another patient to get through. Thank you.

I visited with doctor Dessiredi hoping for an explanation with results. Instead I was treated like I didn’t matter. He seemed careless & rushed. I would have been better off google searching. I was recommended ibuprofen & 6 months time…The diagnosis seemed to be more of a guess. There was no effort to make sure. No genuine feel of health care. I will be getting a second opinion because it was pathetic. Do yourself a favor & visit a urologist who cares

i found the office staff, nurse and Dr. DesiReddy are truly professional. The premise is very well maintained. Only comment from my side would be the length of waiting period, which of course, is not at all uncommon in this profession.
