Westlake Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery - Lakeway's Online Review Report Card

Showed up for several appointments and each time only to wait another 25 minutes to then be told it'd be an additional 30 minutes to see the doctor because they're with someone. So Im not even being seen till 45min- 1 hour after my appointment time. Why did I have to make an appointment to wait? Furthermore when my date for my follow up appointment approached I called to confirm the time, only to be told that it's been pushed a month away because they said I called at 8:00am a week after it was made to reschedule it. I didn't. I don't even get up until 8:10am and that's for work. This has been the most unprofessional and uncourteous experience I've ever had with an office before. I made a yelp account solely to leave this review. I advise you to go to an office where they actually value you and your time.

I was a bit disappointed with my recent visit to the Lakeway location of Westlake Dermatology. I booked facials for two people, which totaled $400, and each service lasted only 23 minutes, even though they were advertised as 40-minute treatments. When I asked about the short duration, I was told the 40 minutes includes time to “talk to the customer,” which felt a little misleading. This was my first time at the Lakeway location, and while I’ve had great experiences at the Bee Cave and Westlake locations, this visit didn’t quite measure up. The environment felt a bit rushed, and there weren’t any of the little touches—like a robe, blanket, or relaxing music—that I’ve come to expect from other facial providers. I was hoping they might offer a small gesture or partial discount to make things right, but unfortunately that didn’t happen. I still appreciate the brand overall, but I don’t think I’ll be returning to this specific location

Amazing personal touch from front to back office! Kim is super friendly and the one who referred me!

My first time here and I had such a great experience! The manager Victoria was so friendly at check in. Victoria at the front desk was so nice. Kim also answered all my questions about retail products! Dr. Richards has amazing bedside manner and helped with my skin!! I’ll definitely be back and would recommend!

After 2 visits & hundreds of calls and messages, I still haven't received any kind of treatment for the rash I visited them about 5 and a half months later!

I saw Dr. Richards yesterday and was again pleased with her professional and knowledgeable care. She explains things well and gave me options. I never feel pressured or rushed at this practice. Her assistant was friendly and listened well to my answers to her screening questions. I have been going to Westlake Dermatology for several years now and continue to have confidence in their care and treatment.

Dr. Lyndsey Richards is the very best. She is well versed in all the procedures and very thorough, kind and considerate. Importantly, she found a very rare disease in a friend of mine who had suffered the symptoms for a very long time.

They kept me waiting so long for my appointment that I had to just leave without being seen. So little respect for my time and no respect for the discomfort that was prolonged due to the rescheduling. Zero stars. Don't recommend.

Great place - clean, actually super nice interior which makes you feel comfortable - like an upscale place when you go in, knowledgeable, and effective staff. Highly recommend.
