Dr.Ian Thompson, III and his practice Texas Urology Group are absolutely amazing in the way they care for their patients, you are considered an individual patient as they care for you!!! I recommend them 100%!!

After waiting months for an appointment, I was told when I arrived that it had been canceled and they had tried to contact me (they had not, in fact I had received a call confirming the appointment). Tried to reschedule, staff was not flexible and suggested I travel to San Antonio. The doctor may be good, but I won't find out because of his unprofessional staff.

Overall had a great experience, for a physician in Laredo not many practice good medicine, and have great bedside manners. Very knowledgeable doctor doesn’t just tell you what you want to hear, I would definitely make the trip to his San Antonio office for my surgery well worth the drive. The nurse who checked my blood pressure was very polite and professional, and the nurse with the colored eyes as well. She’s been very helpful, very knowledgeable in what she’s doing, I say I can speak for everyone when I say and I’ve overheard her go above and beyond for her patients. At times when I call the office she’s always busy, but she does always return my call and makes sure my wife and I understand everything and makes sure I’m not in confused about any of my medications or procedure. She always tells me I’m in very good hands and have nothing to worry about when it comes to my condition. She’s very caring. Great experience, we need more physicians in Laredo, Tx like this one.
