List of John J Park's Reviews
Wildly sexually suggestive comments to the nurse staff. Very uncomfortable. Seemed knowledgeable, but a creep. No way I'm letting my daughter be unconscious around him.
Dr. Park is an amazing surgeon. I had a life-threatening condition that required quick surgical intervention, and after meeting with Dr. Park, I had full confidence in him. Due to the urgency of my condition, Dr. Park modified his schedule to move my surgery to an earlier time. During the recovery period, Dr. Park was attentive and compassionate, and he replied to my messages promptly. I could not have asked for a better doctor.
The finest there is for an aorta aneurysm graft surgery, It all went so well that I left the hospital that same day afternoon after surgery. An unexpected great recovery and super results. He was also able to complete the surgical task without implanting stents to my kidneys. I am glad I found him.
I met Dr Park in the ER of Methodist where I was crying so hard in pain. After 5 or 6 other vascular surgeons & 2 years of pain, I finally got lucky enough to meet a doctor who will listen. In trying to save feet, some toes amputated. Lack of circulation caused incisions not to heal & became infected in 2 weeks. I became a below knee amputee next day and in few weeks left comes off. It was amazing to finally get someone who would listen!!!
Very bad experience time for a lawsuit
Dr. Park performed surgery on my mother and didn't bother seeing her after surgery nor release her the day after her hospital stay. To make matters worse, he didn't prescribe any pain medications, nor did his PA or hospital staff leave her with specific care instructions and my mother suffered the first night of being home. His follow up and service to his patients are horrible. Beware before selecting him if follow up and patient care is a priority for you.
I was referred to Dr Park and glad I decided to give him try. He was very professional and congenial. He listened to my concerns and provided excellent options. He did not pressure me to make a decision or have him do the procedure. . I would recommend. The staff followed up, so maybe they have gotten training is been replaced. In either case, my experience was nothing but positive. He is in demand since he is on staff at a couple of hospitals. Can be tough to get an appointment. Plan ahead if possible.
Dr. Park recently met with my mother in law, and I have to say this man's bedside manner is atrocious. We got good news that she wasn't having any vascular issues, but he proceeded to misdiagnosis her without any knowledge of her condition. He informed a 70 year old woman that she most likely had pancreatic cancer and proceeded to tell her how many people die annually from it. He had no scans or information to back up his claims, instead tells her to hurry to an oncologist and left the office.
He told me that my former vascular surgeon (retired now) was doing unnecessary procedures & was just lining his pockets. He went on and on and didn’t even look at my legs. He just read the notes from my former doctor. I was shocked and just can’t get over this. Even if he is 100% right was this the appropriate way to proceed with a brand new patient? He told me if my leg ever swells (calf larger than the thigh)to just go to the ER. I have never had such an experience! No thanks not for me!
I had surgery with him, and although he is very busy he took time to answer all my questions, always answered on twisle no matter how stupid my questions were

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
