Had an appt scheduled for 2pm. Got there early and checked in. Didn't get called to go back until 252pm. Then they said they might not have time or i had the choice to wait longer to do a cleaning, which is why I scheduled the appt in the first place.

Great staff, awesome work. Speak up and they will listen. A few hiccups here and there in my 18 months of going but it is to be expected. Wait time IS bad initially as they are running your insurance and whatnot, so expect to wait a couple of hours if it’s your first time. They also overbook so on other days the long wait times could be because of that. Is this right? Im not sure. Today, for my tightening, I was the first one there and was out within 30 minutes. I will genuinely miss going to my monthly appointments. This location on Del Mar by Wingstop has my heart. Thank you!

My experience was a little different than what I’m used to but the staff was nice and respectful, however I had some work on my back tooth and before the procedure didn’t have much issues but after I feel like I have plaque on the area where I had work done no matter how much I brush and I’m having a lot of sensitivity when I eat or bite down in that area.

I had one of the most frustrating experiences at Rodeo Dental. I waited over 3 HOURS just to get a basic tooth cleaning that took less than 10 minutes. I kept asking the front desk staff for an update on the wait time, but I never got a straight answer—just vague responses and empty reassurances. If your time is valuable, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This was completely unacceptable and showed a clear lack of respect for patients.

2 years ago I had gotten deep cleaning done after an extraction (didn’t have dental insurance at the time) and intended to schedule a root canal to save a tooth but never came around it over the years and it felt just way too late for a safe root canal this week (even though the dentist still said otherwise and I had the option for doing the root canal had I wanted) but the infection was already so bad I haven’t been eating or sleeping anymore hoping the growing toothache would go away but never did for 3 days straight so I brought myself to call and ask for a prompt extraction and even though they said they were fully booked I moderately begged because of how unbearable the pains were and they decided to squeeze me in that afternoon I didn’t start the procedure until about 2.5 hrs after scheduled but could care less and was just grateful I was able to still be helped with and get the extraction Ended up getting the extraction and deep cleaning both for $120 with the new dental insurance beyond grateful I was able to get it done that day despite everything going on staff were all really kind Showing infected tooth cuz I feel like it
