My condition is not a well known condition and it that took years for anyone to figure out what it was but he has been has been a huge help in helping me understand and find what may help! He isn't big on pain medication but he will try and find other solutions. Where other doctors have failed to listen to me about what helps and what makes it worse, even if it doesn't fit with the usually symptoms or reaction! He treats me like a person and not a number.

I have dealt with terrible pelvic pain for years but always thought it had something to do with my female organs, so when I had finally reached my max I went to see my Gynecologist. After examining me he referred me to Dr. Morerira with concerns of my bladder. He told me that he felt like I could have a disease called Interstitial Cystitis, which I had never heard of! I go to see Dr. Moreira and not only is he the nicest man I had ever met, his bedside manner was amazing and he explained everything to me and it all finally made sense. He made me feel like I wasn't crazy after all, there really was something wrong with me. Each time I see him, you can tell he genuinely cares about me and problems and has let me know that he will do whatever he can to have me feeling more comfortable. He listens to me when I speak and he makes sure and answer all of my questions. I am so thankful that this is the Dr. My GYN referred me to and I would highly recommend him to anyone that is in need of a Urologist! I adore Dr. Sergio Moreira and could not be more thankful for him and my diagnosis and the help that he has provided for me and my life!
