List of Md Anderson League City's Reviews
I had surgery for my cancer at the main campus of MD Anderson in August. I started a six week radiation treatment at the MD Anderson in League City. It has been a wonderful experience. It is so much easier to get in and out of, as well as around the clinic. At the main campus, you have an ordeal to park (and parking is expensive), and walk what seems like miles to get to the location you need. Not at League City. Parking is validated and right by the clinic. I was having a difficult time walking, but it is do-able at League City. Everyone at the League City location has been absolutely wonderful. From the greeters handing out masks at the front door, to my radiation techs. It is the same people everyday and that makes it so much more comfortable. The equipment is top of the line and my radiation techs have me in and out quickly. This is a great facility. They have made a difficult time in my life much easier.
First, let me say how lucky I am to have the opportunity to go to MD Anderson in league city. When I was first diagnosed in 2023 here in Virginia, I was given very little time by my care provider locally. I wasn’t willing to accept that and contacted MD Anderson. I was very anxious having to move my Care to Texas, but at the time it was my only hope. Nervously walking into the league city lobby I was greeted by the biggest smiles and the most cheerful attitudes. The ambassadors greeted me and asked me if I needed help which I said yes I do. They guided me to the front desk where I met Tristan and Kisha. Kisha‘s lane was open so I went to her to check in and was so glad I did. I wasn’t used to being treated like I was the only patient in the clinic that day. I sat after being checked and watched how others were treated. Wow, I thought I was special but, nope. Kisha treated everyone like they were the only one there and that she was willing to help them with anything they needed. I love everyone at MD Anderson and have established some pretty good friendships. I must say though, Kisha being my first point of contact has made my cancer easier to deal with. She has helped me through some pretty tough times. If cancer ever effects you or your family please go to MD Anderson and let these amazing people help you. I thank Kisha and too many more names to list for saving my life.
The journey fighting cancer isn't easy. But, I know when I walk through the doors at MD Anderson League City that I will receive excellent care, the staff and doctors are very caring and professional. My mind is at ease knowing I am receiving the best care possible. The best part of my visit is saying hello to the three lovely lady greeters and getting a hug from Keisha at the front desk, she should be the Ambassador of welcoming patients...everyone loves and adores her. I am grateful for all the nurses, doctors and staff members. Thank you all for going above and beyond 🙏 ❤️
Im going to leave another reveiw after i get upstairs but I just checked in at the first receptionist desk downstairs and there was a lady sitting on both sides of the desk like both sides where open and wow, when I walked into the second land that lady gave me a horrible look and said go waiting in line! Ohhh she was mean. I already have enough problems i dont need a completely rude lady who hate her job and people to be so mean to me. It was uncalled for. I do not know her name. She larger, but smaller than me. She's colored and mean. I dont k ow why but I wouldn't advise attempting to talk to her. I've never seen her before for her to hate me like that. I have chronic anxiety and PTSD and depression and this doesn't help ppl. She's mean y'all. Stay clear. 🙏 im going to pray for her.
This hospital make millions of dollars and they can’t even offer free coffee or put a machine of coffee and cappuccino 🤦🏻♂️
Dr. Willis and his team have been AMAZING. No words can express how greatful my family are for the care he has given my mother. Would absolutely recommend the team, the facility to anyone. Thank you for all you do, and all the lives you have forever changed. ❤️
Great experience at the blood draw today, thank you everyone who checked me in and validated my parking and thank you to phlebotomist Stephanie for making me smile! You all make me feel at home and welcome.
If I could give 0 stars I would. I am appalled by the way they treat their patients. I cannot believe we are in 2024 and we are still forcing people to wear masks. I have cancer it is my choice whether I want to wear one. If I have a cold or a fever I would wear one but this is ridiculous and not even based on anything that can be medically proven. And when pressed about their policy no one can site the why. I'm so sick of this sheep mentality. Just blindly follow without any evidence.
Prostate help here. Best in nation.
So, if you need blood work and a an IV for another procedure, MDA League City refuses to do a single stick. However, I am welcome to drive to the MedCenter where that is possible. Seriously? This is unacceptable. As an incredibly difficult "stick", the last time they had to stick me twice, it took multiple attempts over 2.5 hours. Why? If a single-stick can be done in Houston, is your LC staff so incompetent it can't be done locally? Think about your patients!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
