I was admitted to the hospital earlier this week for severe lower back pain. My mri and ct scans only show a minor tear and a couple slightly bulging discs. Dr turner came in to see me and was completely dismissive and condescending. He basically tried to play down the amount of pain I’m in and said, “it’s ONLY been 5 days of pain.” This man knows NOTHING about my health history. I’m a 40 year old single mother of two boys, kidney cancer survivor, delivered babies at 23 weeks, major surgeries etc... and this man wants to come in here and tell me I don’t know what pain is. I am appalled at his behavior and attitude. I am sitting here in tears writing this. I would never let this man operate on me. He doesn’t care at all about his patients. Terrible experience.

After a 2 plus hour wait I finally get to meet Dr Turner who was rude and a bully- join a gym- go to gym blah blah blah. Sure love to but my back hurts to much so fix me. Ha joke on me! Sorry for being in pain and looking for answers... next

Still in excruciating pain after cervical laminectomy surgery two plus years after surgery. Original MRI has been taken to another neurosurgeon in Indiana who said surgery was not needed. Had no pain before surgery but was assured I needed it or I could become paralyzed or even die in a fall. Get a second opinion before any surgery by Dr. (I used the term lightly) Turner. I am also by now addicted to the percocet given for pain after the surgery. After being on it for so long a period of time,, it no longer does anything for my pain so I will just have to live with it forever.

STAFF IS GREAT AND FRIENDLY. DR. TURNER IS AMAZING.

I was very satisfied with the care I received from Dr. Turner's office starting with the staff that checked me in. His PA is very knowledgeable and I felt like I was in good hands while she was working directly with me. I especially enjoyed being able to view the MRI and see with my own eyes what we would be working on together to bring about a solution. Scott Grigsby

Dr. Turner has performed 4 serious surgeries on my husband this year. Every experience he explained all of the possible scenarios and has ALWAYS been available to answer questions regardless of time or day. (Apologies to his family). I hurt my back minor compared to hubby, still total agony and unable to stand etc. I went to 2 ers and my primary. It took 24 days for pc to get me a referral to Dr. Turner. One visit with him, 3 doses of rx I am 80% better. Thank you for giving me my life back!!?

Dr. Turner, beyond his esteemed education, wisdom, and experience, is a professional who can relay that information necessary to educate the patient on the condition treated. He then works with the patient, armed with informed judgement, on a mutually agreed upon course of action for the most profitable outcome in each unique situation. He doesn't lead you by the nose with fase-promises or a sugar-coated diagnosis. He shoots it straight with compassion. His staff are amazing, capable, friendly..

I am always treated with respect and am given time to ask questions receiving answers that I understand.
