I’ve been trying to think of the words to describe how great Dr. Kutz and his staff were. I suffered a herniated disc in my lower back for approximately 6 months. I initially went to a different surgeon and between scheduling issues and uncommunicative staff, I just had a bad feeling so I cancelled my surgery with them and researched other neurosurgeons. I came across MINT and Dr. Kutz and just from the information they provide on their website I already felt more comfortable trusting them than the other surgeon. The staff got me an appointment within a week and I was put on the schedule for my surgery that same appointment, which was 2 weeks from my initial appointment (my surgery date was actually sooner than the previous surgeon I had gone back and forth with for a month prior). Dr. Kutz performed my surgery without fuss or complication. Dr. Kutz made sure to mention that if I ever have any other issues to just call the office and I will be seen ASAP. No more messing with inefficient surgeons or worrying about referrals! I’ve been able to go from being barely able to bend over to free range of motion and have the comfort of knowing if I ever experience any other back issues Dr. Kutz and the MINT staff are just a phone call away!

Dr Kutz is the most competent, compassionate neurosurgeons with whom I have seen. As a retired RN, I worked with numerous neurosurgeons. Dr. Kutz is the benchmark! I have seen Dr. Kutz as a patient, and because of his surgical interventions in my neck and then my sacral area, he made an immediate improvement in the quality of my life! I would highly recommend him!!!

I was referred to Dr. Kutz for my lower back pain in November 2019 due to a degenerative L5. After TLIF surgery in December I’m almost pain free and I’m only 7 weeks post-op. Dr. Kutz gave my mother her life back. She had failed back surgery in Denver, Colorado six years ago and was left in debilitating, constant pain, almost unable to walk without painkillers.
