Robert O Northway's Online Review Report Card

I went to Dr. Northway for a follow-up appointment, and he and his staff informed me they couldn’t do anything to help me because my previous providers hadn’t sent over tests that they needed. When I asked why my appointment wasn’t rescheduled for when they had all the data necessary, or why I hadn’t been informed that they needed old tests, Dr. Northway pulled up his schedule to show me how busy he was (apparently too busy to care for his patients). I had to miss work and was charged for an appointment so he could show me his schedule and tell me to make another appointment.

I came to this doctor in severe pain, he blamed my pain medication on my symptoms, I had to go to another doctor for another opinion who told me I had a large kidney stone, a infection, and painful incurable bladder disease so I certainly wouldn't recommend him.

Staff were courteous and professional. First visit with Dr Northway for whom my cardiologist highly recommended. Very positive experience. Dr. Northway patiently listened to my medical history and issues and answered all my questions. I did not feel rushed during the visit. Overall very pleased. Highly recommend Dr Northway.

I've been seeing Dr. Northway for almost 10 years for various conditions and I've found him to be very knowledgeable and conscientious in his medical practice. I've had several bouts of kidney stones and helped me reduce the occurrences.

This is a WARNING to anyone thinking of going to see Dr. Northway for any UROLOGICAL issues - DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR - you are better off going to a witch doctor - this so called healer does not know the meaning of the word. He does not listen to his patients or takes time to know them to understand what their health concern is. He seems to think that all he has to do is look at you and determine if you have CANCER or not without taking the time to do any examinations or run any tests to confirm. He is one of those doctors that cares more about payment than the patient - He is one that I would seriously consider investigating for Medicare/Medicaid Fraud. This Mr. Northway - cause he sure comes short of being a doctors needs to find another job! You have been WARNED!

Dr. Northway has been very thorough with dealing with my issues of occasional bladder infections and small bath kidney stones (which completely went away after decreasing my calcium like he recommended). He also recommended 1 cranberry capsule daily and I haven't had a urinary infection for over 2 yrs now. He answers all my many questions, asks about my life in general and seems to care wholistically for his patients. He has a good sense of humor and every visit & my visits are great.

His staff is not well trained, and cannot read an insurance card; so it's taken me months to correct their mistakes and when I called to discuss it I was treated like I was stupid and that I didn't understand my own insurance. There are lots of other Urologist's in this city who's staff and doctors listen and are well qualified - this isn't one of them.

When your staff is bad... It says it all! Still trying to fix the insurance claim they completely messed up! I mean how hard is it to read a card? Never AGAIN! You just want my money!!
