Very time efficient and professional treatment. Dr. Bory is very knowledgeable and caring.
Parents love her, she hasn't allowed their children in with them when they want them but talk to them after. That does bother me but I will see next visit.
I and my three daughters have been patients of Dr. Bory’s for years. I really feel like she is a phenomenal doctor because she is willing to listen to your issues and try different avenues to get the desired outcome. She is a caring person. My dad was diagnosed with liver cancer a few years ago and she always remembers and asks me how he is. To me that’s huge. Most doctors don’t even act like they remember why you came for a visit. She is a breath of fresh air and I have white coat syndrome pretty badly so it definitely is a blessing to have someone who is always smiling and upbeat like her. Five stars all the way —highly recommend her.
Dr. Bory is a very good doctor, she is very patient and she listens to all my concerns. She knows her stuff and I’m so happy I finally found an awesome primary care provider.
Dr. Bory is an amazing person and a wonderful doctor. I've always felt like I could tell her anything that was going on in my life without feeling uncomfortable. She is very personable and she very much does care about her patients and their well being. I cannot sing her praises enough. Her staff on the other hand leaves much to be desired. Every single referral and every single prescription I have ever had, I have had to call their office multiple times to get anything moving. I've never had an experience like this with any other doctor I've visited, and I would switch doctors if I didn't like Dr. Bory so much because the trouble I go through just to get my basic prescriptions and referrals is pretty ridiculous. But I stick around hoping things will change.
God help you when she is out of office (which is a lot), she has NO back-up! No one is on call for her and should you have a urgent medication need, no one there can authorize a refill (even if its just a bridge refill until she returns). Her nurses are slow to respond to phone calls and requests and her front desk staff can barely take a memo, let alone get it correct. The labs she uses are overpriced and way more than what my new provider charges. She gets extremely frustrated with high complexity patients and even though she is booked out for months at a time and its next to impossible to get an appointment, she gets angry with the patient if they're unable to see her w/I the timeframe she wants them back. If you want to avoid conflict and anx as well as have good access find another doctor!!
I moved here from out of state and felt fortunate to have found Dr. Bory as my medical provider.I don't feel rushed and I feel like she is listening to me.I would recommend her.
She's not a good Doctor
Dr. Bory has been very good to me and my family. She is very thorough with her care and her time and never rushes me. It is nice to have her here in the Longview area and I look forward to her helping me keep my health on track. The office staff has been great and her nurse Laura is always kind and well skilled. She makes sure I don't miss anything on my end and that to me is very helpful. Thanks to the both of you for all you do for patients like myself.
I don't trust her as a doctor. I never feel safe with her decisions, and she does not listen to what I have to say.
I was a new patient of Dr. Bory's and I couldn't be more pleased with how friendly, knowledgeable and how efficient she was during our visit. Also the staff were all so friendly and welcoming with me. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a wonderful doctor.
Don't waste your time or energy going to this doctors office. The staff is miserable and the doctors like to make you jump through hoops to get the simplest of prescriptions filled.
GOOD!!!
While Dr. Bory is very personable and seems competent, her staff is absolutely terrible. I am writing this after experiencing several instances. My first instance was after my second visit. I always ask for a complete and final bill and pay cash. I received my "paid in full" receipt. Then about 3 months later I get an invoice in the mail for $120. I called up to see what that was for, but no one could give me an answer, just that I owed the bill. So I went in to see the office manager, well it turned out the person putting the "final bill" together forgot to add several things. Only after having to explain several times to the office manager that "final" meant final did they remove the charge. For the next several months things seemed to run smoothly, then I needed a refill for an inhaler. I was heading out of town to Denver for a 2 week business trip at noon on a Tuesday so I called in the refill on Monday morning. I explained to the nurse that I was going out of town and that I needed to get the refill before I left. The nurse said that there would be absolutely no problem and that they would be calling me back shortly once the refill had been sent to the pharmacy. No calls all day, so I called in first thing Tuesday, at first they could not even find the refill, then when they found it there was no mention of my request. So I went in to talk with the office manager again, she made no apologies saying instead that they did not have time to process the request. By this time it was 10, still time for them to call in the refill, but no, the office manager said that she would not call the doctor, who happened not to be in, to get her permission to get the refill filled. Instead she recommended that I go next door to see another doctor who was in and could fill the prescription, but only after an hour wait and a $189 visit fee. When I kept insisting that this was not an option, she changed her story that since it had been a few months since I last saw the doctor, they could not fill it. I have had a prescription for an inhaler for the last 40 years and over the last 2 years since I had been going to see Dr. Bory. I told that office manager that I needed to hear from Dr. Bory first hand what the reason was for not filling the refill. Only the next day when I was already in Denver, did I receive a message for Dr. Bory asking a question about the refill, but no apology or explanation. At first I decided not to leave any feedback and have not done so for the last six months, but today the office called my mother-in-law (who has been seeing Dr. Bory for the last 6 months) telling her that the doctor needed to see her today, but would give no reason. When she got to the office and went in to see the doctor, Dr. Bory told her that there was no reason to see her and did not know why she was even there.
I'm quite confused as to why this listing states that she's accepting new patients when the woman answering her phones says quite the opposite. I needed to set up an appointment today. I was expecting to hear they were booked, that didn't surprise me. What DID surprise me, however, was when the lady balked after finding out I would be a "new patient" and explained that they're NOT accepting new patients "this week". "Try again next week." Ummmm no, thanks, but no thanks. I'm ill today, not next week. But considering how the front desk handles prospective patients, I'll be taking my business elsewhere.
She's been my primary physician for several years and I think she's awesome. She spends time with me, answers questions, and actually listens. I love that my wait time is very short and her fees are reasonable.
Dr. Bory was very pleasant and was able to address all of my concerns at no rush. I enjoyed seeing friendly smiles by the staff. Dr. Bory has a knowledgeable nurse who has been able to answer my questions and concerns in her absence. The front office has worked with my schedule to get be in to see the Dr. in a timely manner.Thank you
Did not rush, very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I would highly recommend her for your medical need.
dr bory was a breath of fresh air in comparisons to some past physicians I 've seen for medical care
