I have been using Dr. Wallace for several years and have never had a bad experience. Always top quality and service.

Our family appreciates Dr Wallace & his staff! Dr Wallace has always gone above & beyond to make sure we are taken of. I enjoy the atmosphere of the office & the selection of frames. When my wife had a problem, they responded right away..., Dr Wallace is very knowledgeable & will make arrangements for anything needed to help. Dr Wallace is our Eye Doctor . Thank you !

This place is the absolute worst. I told August that I wear colored lenses because I can't see the clear ones when they are out. He decides to fondle the trial pair of contacts to prove that I could see them, then says you can put them in now.I asked for new ones and he seemed to be upset.Then I go to pay for the exam and contacts and the woman helping me was very rude. My insurance had lapsed. She comes over to the table very loudly like my card had declined, yelling, "You are not covered by your insurance anymore." So I say, " I will pay for it out of pocket." She looks at me and says, " I need those contacts back out of your eyes or you have to pay for them too." I have never been treated so poorly at an Optometrist office. These people are unprofessional and heartless. I have never had a doctor or any staff for that matter touch contact lenses and expect you to use them. Never ever again!!!

Horrible customer service. No sense of order. Just help the first person you see no matter how long someone else has been waiting. No care of the customer. Get you in, get your money (they wanted to charge an extra $40 to dilate my eyes with a new method instead of eyes drops) and get you out. The doctor just goes through the motions. No care for his patients. The door greeter has no clue what she's doing. Can't answer a question or do anything. Just paying her to tell people to have a seat...it took 30 minutes to make my glasses now it going to be 3 days to remake them? I thought eye mart express was horrible so I gave August Wallace a chance. Never again.

Do not got to August Wallace unless you want to pay two times. They took my money but i could see better before i went to them. Now i need to go to another Dr to get my eyes done right and it will cost me because the did not give my money back. it shows me all he cares about is money not the people that trust him with there eyes.

I wouldn't bother trying to take your kids here. The earliest they can see them is November 20th more than 3 months from now. Apparently Chip kids are very low priority

Wonderful doctor with very patient temperament with me and I am 84 years old. Thorough exam and good staff. My glasses were great.

I have to say if you have had other eye doctors and then go to Dr Wallace you will see the difference. My last eye doctor never rushed in and out, always gave me the best pricing he could, always worked with me when I needed help, yet with Dr Wallace, he has trained his staff well, 1 if u try to put a negative review on his website, good luck, won't happen, so I came here, 2 if u ever needed help, forget it bc he is there to see u for 5 seconds unless you want to talk about making him more money but forget it if u have a problem, however he will see u longer than 30 seconds if u want to talk bout eye lasik, 3 if ur a contact wearer make sure u treat ur contacts like it's the last one u will ever have, if something happens to ur last pair and u need another pair before yours that u ordered and spent double for gets here don't think for a second he will give u a pair or let u buy a pair before yours get here. It's an absolute no I don't care if u can't see to drive or whatever u need. Yes I do have glasses but were broke at the time and was being fixed. He did not care. Only way he would give me a trial pair was if I made another appt with him even though my appt wasn't due just yet. I will not be going back and would rather pay cash instead of insurance to use my old eye doctor again. At least if I need help he will! In fact even though my insurance made me switch to Dr Wallace my old eye doctor gave me a trail pair to make it til the order I ordered from Wallace makes it here. Go somewhere else!! If ur doctor doesn't care then u don't need to go him.

This practice is the absolute worst. First, the staff are rude and looking for your money. They don't tell you what they will be charging you until after the appointment and push you to buy contacts through them. DO NOT buy through them - it's always more expensive! Also, August doesn't spend very much time with you - I told him about a concern I had in my right eye and he completely ignored looking at it. Go elsewhere!!!!

Excellent service. Knows what he is doing, instead of relying on machines to do his work for him.And the ladies up front take good care of you.
