Just waited about two hours waiting in a lobby when nobody was in there just for blood

I am extremely disappointed how the clerical staff is functioning in the office. We love the Doctors and Nurses there but I would give below 1 star rating to them idiots front desk staff, they have no ideas what they doing.We called in, made an appointment, and made it to the office. After waiting for nearly two hours in the lobby I went to ask the staff about our turn and she said that Dr we supposed to be seeing is not at the office and we should have been informed. I told them when we made appointment no such Information was provided. After all they decided to schedule with another Dr and we went back to the lobby to wait, 30 minutes later they called and said they they would have to schedule an Telehealth appt. I was furious and told the staff that we were leaving. After wasting 2.5 hours waiting in the lobby and no services was received whatsoever. I would switch to different primary care but we love our Doctors and nurses there. We never had any negative experiences with the front desk clerk but this was very dissatisfied and terrible experience.

It’s unfortunate that an expecting mother would walk out of an appointment especially in this case of working with a specialist, Nathan Drever, M.D, to feel more anxious and to have felt that the doctor took absolutely no time with the patient in regards to reviewing previous records from a previous specialist. In this case, I have moved in the middle of my pregnancy and was needing to find someone closer to our new home. I would have rather driven the 3 hours. On another note, don’t require us to arrive 15 minutes early to an appointment that’s at 1:00 when your staff has lunch until 1:00. The doors did not open until 12:55 especially when we sign a document saying if we are 10 minutes late and don’t call, our appointment will be canceled. Our time needs to be respected as well.

I'm giving 1 🌟 because I think the new system they are implementing is absurd!!! You now have to PAY before you see the doctor.It's just another way of "the man" sticking it to the people!! I mean would you pay for a house or car or anything before you even see it. Just saying

Everytime I have visited DCOL they were always polite and courteous. I have had several follow ups with Samir Germanwala and Melissa Sutton and took my cardio rehab here. Excellent staff!!

My appointment was at 2:30. There were 4 people ahead of me and I noticed each one, upon check in said "I have an appointment with Merritt at 2:30". After sitting there for 90 minutes two of those were called back and I walked out. Ninety minutes to not be seen is disrespectful of my time.

I love Diagnostic Clinic, Dr Lin is my OB and delivered my first baby in September 2020. My experience was pleasant and i would recommend him to anyone. My babys pediatrician is Dr Davis and from our first visit with her I could tell we'd love her. Dr Edmonds was also very nice, she was our pediatrician before she left, we were sad to see her go.

While the Doctors and nurses here are wonderful I can't say anything positive of the clerical staff. The amount of times that we've called and either been rudely interrupted, hung up on, or just flat out ignored is horrendous. The back office cannot function without an efficient front office and my son's health has suffered for it. It is so sad that it has been nearly impossible to find a half decent pediatrician just because their front office can't get it together. As someone who has personally been a patient representative, it's not that hard to answer questions, leave notes, return calls, send faxes, and be a decent human being. And just to hopefully see some improvements, whoever your answering service was on May 17th at 4:30 PM refused to let me finish my sentence before declaring that the office was closed and she couldn't be bothered to even leave a note.

I am quite pleased with the Doctors at DCOL. I called Dr Wheeler (whom I love) requesting a referral/recommendation for a new Primary Care Physician. His Nurse recommended her own, Dr Hart. He is very kind & his staff are friendly and efficient.
