David R. Witt's Online Review Report Card

If you want to wait over a week just to get a prescription filled, this is your guy. I can see once, especially taking on a new office, but it's every single month. Incredibly unprofessional.

Friendly, clean and well-organized, and I like my doctor.

Dr Witt recently took over another dr’s practice and changed my meds without even discussing it with me. I’ve never met with him. I’ve taken this med successfully for 7+ years. And good luck trying to make an appt with him because you’ll only receive his answering machine with no return call.

This is the worst doctor I have ever been to. With the exception of my original consult visit this doctor was rude, short (he will speak over you) and uncaring. When I voiced my feelings and said I’m done with his rudeness and will not return to see him he mailed me a certified letter discharging me from the entire DCOL clinic so that I couldn’t see any other PCP from that clinic. DO NOT see this doctor if you are looking for a good one. Although his nurse and office manager are friendly and competent this doctor isn’t.

Doctor will talk over you, dismiss your symptoms, and basically put words into your mouth about how you are feeling/what your issue is. I was trying to explain to him what symptoms I was having and he said “I don’t know what that is”. I then would try to talk and he would continue to cut me off, talk over me, and rushed me out of his office ASAP.I told him “I’m not sure what exactly is causing me to feel this way” and he said verbatim “you aren’t here to tell me what’s wrong or what’s causing it” in a very rude manner. I also asked if I could get a refill on my medicine, which is just birth control, he told me he doesn’t do that and I needed to call if I wanted it refilled. What??? A dr. can’t refill medicine? I left the office feeling very unsatisfied, and that the doctor couldn’t care less about how I physically was feeling. Why be a doctor if you don’t care how people feel and you tell them you don’t know what’s wrong. I left with no real answers and still in pain.

Have been using dr Witt since 2006. He takes perfect care of me and my health and takes the time to listen to my concerns and answers all my questions. I really appreciate his professionalism. Great family dr.

Dr. Witt helped us tremendously when my husband hurt his back recently. He’s a straight shooter, no nonsense, get it fixed kind of doctor ... and we like that. He is knowledgeable, compassionate, thorough and made sure we received the best care possible. A true blessing ... and we are thankful for him .
