Dr Chavez is an excellent Geriatrician. My father who has mild dementia went from having 3 physicians to now only seeing doctor Chavez . He was seeing both a pain management AND knee orthopedic physician for knee pain. Dr Chavez took over the pain medication and gives him knee injections every 4 months. Also, my fathers pcp never really did anything about the dementia. Now after educating me, starting medications and life style modifications my father has improved significantly. I can’t thank Dr Chavez enough for his help and expertise. -Edward

No more knee pain! Best doctor in town highly recommended! I was seeing an orthopedic nurse practitioner for my arthritis and she gave me a knee injection and made it worse by hitting the bone (really hurt). I saw Dr. Chavez a few months later and he offered me a new injection that solved the problem! I didn't even feel the needle. He has great hands and is very courteous, smart and trustworthy. Thanks to him my knees are doing much better.

He saved my life! I went to an ER with chills and fever and they said I had nothing wrong with me and sent me home. Two days later I went to saw Dr. Chavez, as a new patient, and he diagnosed me with pneumonia and admitted me to Regional Hospital. He took care of me while I was admitted. I now see him as my regular doctor and trust him with both of my parents and in-laws. He is very smart and I trust his medical judgement. He's also trained in Geriatrics and he cut a lot of medicine from my mother who was over-medicated by her previous doctor. We are all doing much better because of him.

Dr. Marco Chavez is an exceptional physician. He is very knowledgeable and explains all diagnosis very well. He chose this career to truly help his patients. I was living with rheumatoid arthritis and didn’t know it. My previous doctor had missed this for years. I am feeling much better and my rheumatoid arthritis is well controlled. He’s now seeing a lot of my friends and wife and we are all very pleased with his excellent care. Longview is lucky to have an exceptional physician who truly cares.
