Had a colonoscopy done. Was given instructions for the preparation that vatied from what the box said, suggesting I finish the drink significantly faster than the standard pace. Was the most disgusting medical experience I've had. Vomited. Doctor didn't seem to think it was worth noting.Procedure itself and examination/interpretation of the results was fine.Most of the helpful info about my digestive health came from Chris, the P.A.

He is very nice and seems knowledgeable BUT his office personnel are awful. They don't return phone calls. Still waiting or the script of medicine you drink to be mailed to our house even after the colonoscopy. My wife had to make a trip to Longview to pick it up. Then on the morning of the colonoscopy, the facility didn't have me listed for the procedure. For the past 2 days we have called asking about the biopsy results but NO ONE has returned out calls. The office is very unorganized.

I was a patient of Dr. Saridena. I have never met him. Everything was done through his P.A. Christopher Burns. Chris is very knowledgeable. He is able to answer your questions...while you are there in the office for an appointment. DCOL has a messaging center for patients to be able to send messages to providers. I waited for weeks for an answer as to why I was contacted by their nursing staff stating that I needed to have a liver biopsy. There was no reason provided until I called the office back and asked if they could have providers reply to the questions. "They don't use that." Then what is the point of having that service provided for ALL providers? Why not take them out of the list of providers so they can't get messages sent to them and have patients waiting to hear back?I had to wait for a phone call back from the office to give a reason why to have this procedure. I didn't know that I wouldn't even see Chris or Dr. Saridena on the day of the procedure despite the pre-op staff stating that I would meet "the doctors" prior to the procedure the day of. My wife stated that Dr. Saridena was there based on communication with the recovery room staff.I wouldn't go to this practice unless you like being a number...a line item on a list of things to do in the day...if you think you will get answers to any questions without having to call the office or if you ever want to meet the doctor himself. He is only in the office one day a week. This office is poorly set up and provided pure anxiety and questions as to why something as invasive as a liver biopsy was necessary.I will be seeing another doctor from here on...through Good Shepherd.

Dr. Saridena and his staff are awesome! They took great care of me from beginning to the end. I was treated with upmost care the entire time. I highly recommend him and his staff.

Thanks for all your office has done for me. I have never been treated so nice, everyone was so nice to me. Dr. Saridena is the best and is so sweet to his patients. I will always see Chris Burns is PA.

Dr. Saridena and his staff are awesome, from the minutes I got there they was on top of it. The office is so nice, the nurse call me back with my results. Dr. Saridena scheduled me for my Colonoscopy and was so sweet to me and my husband. I will recommended all my family and friends to his office. The BEST care I have ever had. Thanks Mrs. Daniel

I called and was in for an appointment the next day for my stomach problems. The staff was friendly and helped me quickly get in for a colonoscopy the next week. FINALLY got me feeling normal again!

Worst medical experience I have ever had. Cookie cutter medicine. If a test does not tell him exactly what to do, he lacks the ability to diagnose the illness. No communication with patient. Sits behind computer when he is in the room with you.
