Dr Smitherman replaced my left knee. I find him & his staff to be the absolute best!!!!

Great Dr and surgeon waited 6 years and walking better than ever after 4 weeks. Great staff as well.

If I could give this office 0 stars I would! Whoever the woman at the front desk is has been rude to my mother and insensitive toward her situation. I understand doctors have a right to refuse service to patients, but to not even see one due to the patient being in a pedestrian accident because you’re afraid to not get paid by the insurance? It’s a shame when monetary gain takes precedence over patient suffering. The staff could most definitely take a lesson in compassion and care. Highly disappointing that there are offices that treat patients like this. My mother was involved in a pedestrian accident over a year ago & has been in chronic back and shoulder pain ever since. It’s not for lack of trying to see a competent doctor either as she has been turned away by this woman who claims the doctor won’t see her regardless of circumstance due to her being in an accident which she had no control over. They are complicit in allowing suffering and deterioration of health. Shame on you for that. Train your staff better please!

Very good doctor and a friendly staff. They are truly interested in you and your needs. The after care is so important to them. Dr. Smitherman is so kind and an excellent doctor. His surgery skills are excellent.

Dr Smitherman is an excellent dr, unfortunately his staff does his practice a huge disservice: they are unfriendly, non-communicative, rude and definitely NOT patient centered. I was a long time patient that ended up finding a new surgeon due solely to the staff. I am certain he has no idea, but perhaps he should.

You know, it's sad when a doctor you've seen before for a knee replacement won't see you because you have Medicare and Medicaid!! My mother can hardly walk and even though he takes Medicare, he doesn't take Medicaid and because you have both Medicare and Medicaid he won't even see her. He did her first knee on Medicaid and Medicare both but now he won't??? Bad business as far as I'm concerned!! I could understand if he doesn't want to take Medicaid but Medicare will pay so why won't he see her and take that one??? BAD BUSINESS AND BAD DOCTOR FOR DOING THAT!!!!!
