Do not use Dr Syn my husband had surgery on a Monday the following Tuesday he is in the hospital having a follow up surgery because of Dr Syns, he let my husband leave the hospital knowing he had a leak, now here I set in the CCCU while my husband is on a ventilator! Worst surgeon ever definitely don’t not recommend!! RUN AWAY DONT WALK! Save your self some

Dr. Syn is the BEST bariatric doctor in the country! He did my bariatric surgery (DS Switch--duodenal switch) 9 yrs ago, I lost 215 lbs. In 1 1/2 yrs, and I feel and look wonderful (or so I'm told by everyone!). I recommend him highly and would do it again....(B. Beyerlein, Amarillo, Tx.)

I have been a patient of Dr. Syn’s since 2018. He is a fantastic surgeon! I had gastric sleeve January 2019, 360 skin removal May 2021, and hiatal hernia repair May 2022. I trust Dr. Syn with my life! Dr. Syn advocates for his patients and he genuinely cares about each patient. His nurse Erika is awesome and sweet! I love Dr.Syn’s facility. If you’re looking into weight loss surgery look no further, this is the spot!

Worst Doctor ever. He has been sitting on my insurance approval for a year now, because he switched hospitals after my final Endoscopy! He was supposed to fix a hernia during surgery, but he just disappeared on me. So even I was approved by my insurance, and went through the whole program with Dr. Syn, I never got the surgery. He should have to pay back the money he made off me. The Nutritionist sucks, a visit with her takes about 90 seconds. I don't recommend this office.

I was supposed to have Weightloss surgery in September 2020, I have an insurance approval that expires next month *August 2021, am supposed to have a Hernia fixed during the procedure, that cause issues. Dr. Syn has completely ignored me and my situation, that he has caused by switching hospitals after the endoscopy that was my final step to get on his surgery schedule. I had to hunt down every little piece of information regarding my case. I fell into depression because for almost a year now, I watch people that started their weightloss journey with me losing 100 lbs, when this could have been me already. Whats sad is, that not once has he reached out to me, and apologized for how things went. I do not recommend Dr. Syn because he has completely let me down.
