I went in to see Dr. Sherman as a new patient. I am a Diabetic and I felt like I needed a thorough eye pexam. I was called into the exam room by a nurse/assistant actually I’m not sure what her title was! She did the full exam. I kept thinking she was getting things ready for the Doctor and that he would come in and examine me. He finally came in… looked at what she had written down. Told me I had cataracts but they weren’t ready to be removed. Never did an exam. Dismissed me they gave me my prescription at the desk. I paid $339.00 and was on my way. I had a strong feeling my prescription wasn’t right! I got my new glasses! Sure enough my bifocals weren’t right! When I tried to read small print it was blurry. I went back to Sherman’s Office! Another girl? Adjusted my prescription I went back to the Optical shop. Got different lens put in my new frames! I will not go to this to this Doctor again. I don’t want to see an assistant if I am going to pay that much money I want to be examined by the Doctor!

Dr Sherman is good dr but his office personal could do better the techs wear long acrylic nails they have no sinks in the rooms where these techs can wash there hands no gloves these techs do touch your face and eyes and with the COVID-19 out there it would seem they would be more concerned that is very sad when there is a good dr but staff from reception to techs and clinic manager need more training they bring down the office in total.I cannot complain about the surgery clinic the staff is very good no long fingernails washed hands and used gloves.But the clinic on 50th needs a lot of help in customer service.

Dr. Sherman was very professional and timely. He was also very personable making it an easy visit. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful and polite.

I've had multiple exams with Dr. Sherman and have been very pleased. He takes the time to talk through any questions that I have and is very knowledgeable and personable. He has made obtaining a new contact prescription painless and I would not hesitate to see him for any other eye related issues. His office is also very clean and the staff is friendly and professional.

Dr. Sherman was professional, prompt and courteous. I hadn't had an eye exam in several years and West Texas Eye made it easy. After a comprehensive check, I had a new prescription for contacts and was out the door. Highly recommend!
