I waited 7 months to see this doctor. My appointment was rescheduled twice and a week before my appointment they called me to let me know this doctor was no longer taking new patients and they cancelled my appointment.

Dr. Beceiro has been my doctor for many years. He has been there for me through all of my thyroid problems, .and his reassuring manners, diagnostic expertise and professionalism has been prevalent with all those years. I highly recommend him

I saw Dr. Beceiro several times for a pituitary adenoma. I really liked him. He seemed competent and nice.

They WILL not return calls. They WILL not my prescription carrier. I am out of medicine. .

Dr. Beceiro has treated me for hypothyroidism. I recently stopped taking birth control pills after many years, and my hair started falling out dramatically. The hair loss has effected me so much emotionally that I've chosen to start wearing a wig. I read on the internet that the thyroid medicine that I'm taking can cause hair loss. I also read that the birth control pills that I stopped taking could help fight hair loss. Well, I have no intention of going back on my birth control pills because of my age. And I'm apparantly left taking this thyroid pill that seems to be causing my hair to fall out. So I went to Dr. Beceiro to talk to him about it. After he admitted to me that the thyroid medication can cause hair loss, he told me that I was just imagining my own hair loss. It was all in my mind. When I asked him about a different kind of thyroid medication that I read about on the internet that may not have those same effects, he lost it. "That's just the internet." Then he went off on me about all the vitamins and supplements that I take. He asked me why I'm taking all of that. I said because of my heart, my thyroid, my hair loss, and my acne. I'm trying to stay healthy. "What makes you think that will help!" he said. I said, "Do you know of any vitamin or other supplement on that list that is causing my hair to fall out - because if you do, I'll stop taking it." He threw his hands up and said "no." This, by the way, is coming from the same doctor that once tried to get me to buy perscription Omega 3 from the pharmacy that cost $200 per bottle. Then he told me to go get my lab work done but was not going to talk to me about what he would test for. I had to ask him, and he tursly told me about three things he would check for - but didn't want to talk about it any further. I'm really sick and tired of these old conservative doctors that can't think outside their own safe assembly line of patients and pharmaceuticals. We need to bridge the gap between the traditional medical doctor pimping out pharmaceuticals and the doctor that takes a holistic approach to medicine. This guy is on the wrong end of the extreme in my view, and he appears, to me, to be threatened by the internet. I'm 50 years old now, I don't have to put up with this crap from doctors anymore. I have really had my fair share of bad doctors, and I wish I could find a good doctor.
