Most definitely would I recommend Dr. Suarez - compassionate, smart, and puts patient needs first. Outstanding communication skills. And he doesn't mind a challenging case, as my needs have proven to be. Just really lucky to have him here.

I rate Dr. Suarez 1 out of 10 a strong 20. He LISTENS TO THE PATIENT/CLIENT with the approach that I know my body and what will work and what is a waster of time. He respects my knowledge regarding me and he listens to suggestions about me where other so-called doctors feel that their egos are being CHALLENGED. It is understandable why he was on the front page of Cardiology's Magzine. He is great and I do not rate most Lubbock doctors above 2. Thank you, God, for sending me to Dr. Jose Saurez. I still have one kidney (smile it is an inside joke).

Dr. Suarez literally saved my life when other Drs. gave up on me, admitted me to Hospice and sent me home to die.

I saw Dr. Suarez due to heart failure symptoms. He ran a few test and decided it was just my lungs. He referred me back to my pulmonologist and closed my case. I requested a second opinion from my primary care and the new cardiologist ran a heart catheterization and found that I had pulmonary hypertension and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. If I had not been persistent, I would be dead. Dr Suarez did not take my case seriously.

Dr. Suarez is exceptionally intelligent. He is direct, communicates clearly and honestly. He is a caring Dr. who does all he can to put his patients needs first. He gives thorough, clear answers to questions. He has been my heart Dr. for 6 years and I trust him more than any Dr. that I know.

My wife was having spasms in her right aortic artery. Dr. Suarez put a stint in before questioning the fact that another Dr. had taken her off her Norvasc which keeps the spasms from happening. The stint was totally unnecessary; all that was needed was to put her back on the Norvasc. Waste of time-waste of money. A little more analysis would have prevented her from having to have an unnecessary procedure.

From day one of my fathers massive heart attack he save him. I can't thank him enough. My dad had two more surgery from him dr. Suarez has did a great job. God bless dr. Suarez and his staff!!!
