He put a pacemaker in me that I never needed with no data supporting the implant, knew I didn't need it and lied to me. Do not trust him with electrophysiology issues. There is not an electrophysiologist on staff and they should not be allowed to put pacemakers in. Also got c. Diff at Lubbock Heart Hospital and he failed to treat me for it. Three unnecessary surgeries and it's finally out of me. Get a second opinion.

Has saved husbands life more than once . He was out of town once and another Dr saw him and tried to place a stent and could not. When he returned he had not problem putting stant in great Doctor

Bedside manner is terrible, waited for over 3 hours to see him, talked to me for less than 5 minutes, would not look at me in the eye, and not concerned with how I was feeling. The only recommendation was to put a monitor into my skin that you could see and would blink with lights and leave a huge scar. Saw Dr. Borno for over a year and I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Borno has treated me and several other family members and friends of mine. He is exceptional. He took his time, really listened and explained what was going on. I wouldn't want to see any other cardiologist but him. I recommend him to anyone I know needing to see a cardiologist.

Dr Borno had placed 2 cardiac stents with no problems. On the third stent he ripped my aorta requiring emergency bypass surgery. Since Dr Borno does not do bypasses, he had to call in an emergency surgeon. He did not want to tell me what happened and I had to learn the details from my family. I should have sued him for malpractice but I was talked out of it. After I recovered, I found another Cardiologist.
