List of Umc Family Medicine At I-27 Medical Center's Reviews
I went because of a viral infection. The wait time was short, and a nurse, Gloria, and Dr. Lindgren were great, their prescription helped me to recover quickly.
I walked in and used the words "I am bleeding and need my finger stitched." They have me sit down fill out a bunch of paper work AND THEN WAIT 20 MINUTES WHILE BLEEDING (I had told them I was still bleeding) to call me in the back JUST TO TELL ME NO ONE THERE CAN DO STITCHES AND I HAVE TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE?!?!?! If it hadn't been my right hand, I could stitch it MYSELF, and there's no one at the emergency clinic that can?!?!? Seriously?!?!?! And, WHY did it take you so long to tell me that?
Very great walk in clinic they listen to your concerns and try to get you in as quickly as possible.
Closed on Saturday
We have been waiting 2 hours for my elderly dad to be seen. He is 75, is in heart failure, has a tracheotomy and possibly has pneumonia. He is having difficulty breathing and they literally have seen everyone else first. All of which have less severe problems. Feeling very frustrated right now.
I typically have a good experience with I-27, the only times I don't are when I'm seen by Dr.Lentz, both times I have seen Dr.Lentz he has diagnosed me with an Upper Respiratory Infection. The first time the cough lasted 3 more months and then I was told it isn't a URI but Asthma. Then, I go in today and no tests are done, he comes in asks some questions and then sends me on my way with a prescription. Nevermind the fact that I paid 76$ to have basically a drive-by consultation. I-27 will continue to get my business but Dr.Lentz will never treat me again.
Great clinic! Very nice staff and very discreet... Very affordable when you don't have insurance. I well always recommend this clinic....
That trasspassed me when they gave me a faulse positive
STAY AWAY. This is the most unprofessional place I’ve ever been to, AND THEY BILL YOUR INSURANCE FOR UNECESSARY TESTS/EXAMS/ETC. I was seen by Dr. Lindgren for an annual exam and her nurse made me feel so uncomfortable when calling to give me my results. She was extremely judgmental and completely unprofessional and uninformative. I later found out they submitted certain tests that, by industry standards, aren’t even normally submitted for patients my age. And they had no reason or special circumstance to do so, other than to charge my insurance for unnecessary testing. On a separate occasion, I was contacted by the staff and told I was due for an exam and they couldn’t refill my prescriptions until I came in. I took time off work, went to my appointment, waited for over an hour before finally getting to the exam room, only for Dr. Lindgren to come in and tell me the scheduling was a mistake because it hadn’t been a full year since my last exam, meaning my insurance wouldn’t cover the visit yet. So, I waited for more than an hour, spoke with her for less than 1 minute, AND THEY STILL CHARGED ME A CO-PAY FOR AN EXAM BECAUSE “I TECHNICALLY SAW THE DOCTOR.” This is the shadiest “medical center” I’ve ever experienced. You should be able to trust the intentions and integrity of those put in charge of your health and well-being. Unfortunately, that is FAR from the case with these people. Save your time and money and go to one of the many physicians in Lubbock who will actually put your best interests first and foremost.
Waited 2 hours...which i expected as a walk in. At the end of the 2 hour wait...asked how much longer...was told the Dr. had an emergency earlier...so it would be another 30-45 minutes. I’m still good with that. Waited the additional 45 minutes...asked again. Told me it would be another hour! Why...Dr. had an emergency...another one? Got my co-pay back. This is my regular Dr. office...don’t like being lied to...i had been there longer than anyone else...even other walk-ins! 😡

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
