List of Abraham Cheriyan's Reviews
I’m new to the area ! I began to have breathing issues and I was referred to Dr. Cheriyan Abraham F MD. One of the best doctors I’ve had since leaving California. He’s very professional and great bedside manners
Told us we should have a DNR for my mother because of her alzheimers and breathing issues. He said she would never have a quality of life. Her hospital stay had exasperated her alzheimers. He wouldn't sign off on her getting a trach. Now that she does have a trach and is home 2 1/2 years later she is doing great. Of course with alzheimers we have good days and bad days but I am thankful for every day we have.
Although Doctor Cheriyan is a little too busy sometimes (which goes with the territory), I am very pleased with everything the doctor has done for me. A great man and a great doctor!
First doctor ever that actually called me to give me results over the phone after a test that gave a bad result. That alone showed that he truly cares about his patients. His nurses are great- they helped schedule all my testing and sent the paperwork without any frustration. All in all, I would say, he helped me and my family cope a little easier with this.
He truly cares about his patients!
When I entered I completed all the forms I was handed on the clipboard. (as we do) When I was called to the window, I asked what the "Cash Pay Fee," would be. The receptionist did not know. She asked another employee. The price was $175. I said I would like to be cash pay. She said ok, but you can only pay $100 today. I followed instructions. HOWEVER, because I had entered my insurance information on the form, they filed on my insurance. (by law) The total bill is $480. Crazy. I only saw Dr. Cheriyan for a few minutes. He sent me for blood work. I have never heard from Dr. Cheriyan. Nothing, except a bill in the mail.
Second visit was today. He was able to treat my condition and give me advise how to make sure I stayed on course without medication. It sure helps to know there are dr's with his knowledge and courtesy still out there. He was very kind and patient. He was in no rush and his staff was excellent. Honestly, I wish he did primary care so I could be treated for everything here. Very heartfelt and warm environment. I suggest this place to anyone wanting a good experience.
Three appointments was all it took for me to realize he thought way more of himself than he did his patients. He is very inconsiderate of his patients time. He was over an hour and half late. He was in and out within ten minutes. Would not answer the questions I needed answered about my health. narcissistic behavior. I felt as though he thought was more of himself than he did his patients or even his staff. I heard him talking to them the same way. I will not go back.
I thought my life was forever going to feeling tired and not able to sleep. WHen I did sleep my spouse complained about snoring. I never felt rested or able to function after even a full 9 hours of sleep. My spouse suggested I see a doctor. Dr. Cheriyan took care of my problem. He ordered a sleep study and within about two weeks, I had a CPAP machine and relief. I feel like a brand new man! Thank you!
I took the overnight sleep study and the results were undetermined, so when I asked to take it again to get the results I paid for ($500), I was told it would cost another $500. Insurance had paid the 1st time but would not pay again since the results were undetermined. I would not recommend this place at all, and will not be going back to get rip off again!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
