I highly recommend Dr. Bassin. He is a wonderful surgeon. I was so sick before I went to his office. He did two surgeries on me this summer and I can truthfully say my results have been so good, it changed my life! I am very thankful that we have such a quality surgeon in my hometown of Lufkin. If you need surgery, do not hesitate to use Dr. Bassin. His staff is also friendly and very helpful. He was easy to get into his office and the communication was great. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Bassin. Thank you!

A pleasant surprise in today’s world. Dr Bassin took the time to talk to us, provided a thorough exam, thoughtfully explained what may be occurring along with next step options for us to consider. He made us very comfortable and eased our concerns. Thankful we were able to see him so quickly. His office staff are excellent as well.

Dr. Bassin is very professional as a Dr., and he tells you in terms you can understand about your condition. It's hard to find a good Dr. and to be comfortable with them and Dr. Bassin fits that so well. I would refer him to others.

Had a procedure to remove port a cath. Procedure went perfectly. Wound is now 98% healed! I'm back to my daily/ weekly activities w/ my children and family. Results and healing time were remarkable! Very little scaring from surgery occurred. Thank you Angelina Surgical Association and Dr. Bassin for a job well done!

I have never been so saddened by a doctor's office! Nothing wrong with the doctor himself but I do have insurance with a high deductible but I need surgery. His office recommended that I go through MD Save along with my insurance to get the cost down. They assigned me a specific procedure number. When I called the hospital to start the process, the hospital said the doctor was registered with MD Save but the exact procedure # they gave me was not so they just needed to get that registered. Jim at the doctors office originally said they would get that taken care of. Now after a month of waiting Jim says they are not interested in getting the procedure # registered with MD Save and I will need to find another surgeon! What kind of doctors office recommends you help then says they won't do it? I had never heard of MD Save in my life until his office suggested it to supposedly help me and now they have crapped all over me! Now that is very professional for business! I have also never in my life written a review on anything but I definitely feel like it is necessary today!

The staff and everyone was very nice. However, i got there at 1pm, appointment was 130pm, i didnt see the doctor untill 248p. Other than the long wait time, everything else was fine.
