I find Dr. Taylor and his P.A. quite pleasant. However, I believe many on his staff are totally incompetent, especially his nurse and the coumadin clinic that she is head of. She will not return calls where I have left voicemails. Nor, leaving a written request at the checkin counter to be out into her inbox are ignored. My personal request to have an authorization signed so that I can have a medical procedure was ignored for more than a week. I'm most certainly glad that I am not in a life threatening situation.
We both go to Dr. Taylor and think he is knowledgeable and entertaining.
Dr. Taylor is a caring, personable cardiologist. His office staff does not seem to care about checking in patients in a timely manner or answering phones/returning calls. Wait time is unreasonable. Too bad for his patients.
Dr. Taylor personally is a nice, fun, and seemingly knowledgeable person. But so far out of 7 to 8 visits over half have been either canceled the day before, or I have waited over two hours after finally telling me that he has been called to the hospital to do an emergency surgery (this has happened twice). My Daughter has to drive from Longview to take me (2 hour drive). Combine that with the most rude, inconsiderate and incompetent office staff ever, I must advise you to try another Doctor.
On several occasions I've attempted to contact the office at 817--842-2500 only to encounter extended ring time, or busy signals. Most practices have an answering service or have call roll over to another office or back line. For a Cardiology practice this is a frustration when setting appointments, returning a call or even attempting to pay a bill.
Excellent Cardiologist, very professional, makes you feel at ease. Had to wait an hour the last 2 times I was there before I was called to go back and see him. I told him about this, he has since taken care of the problem and have not had a long wait.
One and only appointment, but I was very pleased with everyone and everything.
One of the finest physicians that I have found. Caring, friendly, explains everything in an understandable manner and is just a very nice person. I have the utmost respect for him.
Excellent with Diagnoses, treatment, best of all - He listens to his patients!! His attitude is ALWAYS upbeat and positive. He has the ability to make sure I always understand what my condition is, how he plans to treat it, and explains all possible - both good and bad - outcomes. His recent move to Mansfield means a 45 minute drive to see him, but I would drive 3 times that long to see him! He is thorough and compassionate and best of all, has a wonderful sense of humor. I would recommend him to anyone that is looking for a cardiologist!!
