For years my son and I have gone to Dr. BOONE for wellness check ups. I started having liver issues and I took her word that my numbers were good. Unfortunately I got very sick and decided to look at my own chart. Turns out my bilirubin, cholesterol and alka phosphatase had been off since 2018. Never did her or her staff say anything.I just looked at my sons numbers too and his AST was off too. She prescribed my son antibiotics for 8 months due to his acne and I never knew how bad antibiotics truly are to our guts. Antibiotics destroy all bacteria in the gut including good bacteria . This place definitely makes money off of prescribing medications. They are all part of these big pharm companies destroying peoples lives. Do yourself a favor and look for a good functional medicine doctor that will really order the proper blood work and to keep you at optimal health. Remember that a patient cured is a patient lost. This place just wants to keep patients sick so you keep going back. Doctor's make about $400,000 a year from prescribing these awful meds. They have very little education on nutrition. Dr. Mattingly is awesome! He’s on time!!! I can’t remember the last doc I went to that was on time! He listens! He doesn’t rush me at all. He answers all my questions and makes me feel better about what’s going on with me! He’s very smart. I couldn’t recommend a better dr!

Can’t get anyone to answer the phone ever.

I used them for about 3 years. Recently, was told I could no longer receive my medications until I went in for blood work. I’m private pay. The cost of the blood work was completely out of my price range and seemed absurdly high, regardless. My refills were denied, even for medications unrelated to what they wanted to test for. I was told only annual checkups would be required for my asthma medications, but that turned into biannual checkups, as they would contact me saying they wouldn’t be able to fill my meds if I didn’t. They’re profiteers who seemingly have little concern for the overall well being of their patients.I used them for about 3 years. If I could give a zero, I would. They refused to see my husband today because he has too much insurance?!?!?! We have a personal insurance and because he is disabled he also has Medicare part A and B. Which he could not "refuse" because he is on Social Security disability and it is automatic. They told me to cancel part B and get Advantage (which costs extra money). Part B can not be cancelled because it is mandatory for him on social security disability. So they won't see him anymore. He has been going to the same doctor for may years and now, a big F you! He is newly diagnosed with Diabetes and we were only there for a referral to an endocrinologist and they wouldn't even refer him. I made a appointment to take a rapid covid test the day before i was told. And the day i thought i was going to take the test after paying $25 drove down there. Did the zoom call the doctor in the parking lot just for him to tell come back tomorrow and i can't give you a rapid test today.

Was a new patient at this clinic and had my first visit today. I typically dread going to new clinics because they take longer with paperwork for new patients, but was very impressed at how quick everything was. The nurse, Angie, was very kind and helpful and I was highly impressed with Dr. Mattingly’s attention, care, and comforting and consultative personality.The front desk was also very helpful and displayed teamwork in all helping to make the experience easier. They are customer-facing and deal with a lot so I completely understand how stressed they may be, especially during this time with so many people calling in for appointments. I think people should cut them more slack and understand they are handling a lot of the behind-the-scenes of the clinic.I’ve been to clinics where it feels like doctors are pumping patients in and out and it always leaves much to be desired as far as care. I know right now with COVID, they are extremely busy but I did not feel rushed and my concerns were heard and treated with attention.I was also nervous as I was going for treatment of ADHD/depression so I had anxiety of not being taken seriously but I was met with a comforting presence.Was a new patient at this clinic and had my first visit today. I truly believe that no one should go to this Doctors office if they have any other choice. Everytime I have had to interact with the front office staff, they have been rude and ignorant and they always over charge. When I needed to get tested for COVID after being exposed, I called to schedule an appointment and was told there were none available and was given no other option, after doing my own research I found out that they had an after hours virtual clinic, which I wasn’t told about originally- and it was a struggle to get my test results back even after being told they would call me the next day. This time I scheduled an appointment because of a prolonged cough, only because a Doctor from Doctor on Demand believed that I may need chest x-rays. When I called to make my appointment and told the operator what the issue was I was told that it must be flu symptoms and that is what my appointment was going to be for- and I had to tell her twice that NO it was just for a prolonged cough, and she couldn’t manage to remember who she was talking to as she had to ask for my name & DOB twice. Now, I was told that the doctor may not be able to see me because a cough is a symptom of covid even though that was quite literally what my appointment is for, but they went ahead and charged me the $70. She said they have to “let the doctor know” which is interesting considering if they were really concerned about covid then the office staff would be wearing their masks and requiring temperatures. Not to mention, I was charged for a covid virtual appointment and have called twice to speak to the Humana rep and both times have been told that she would get back to me but it has been 4 days since my initial call and I have yet to hear back. This office is all around a mess and the wait times for appointments are almost always around 30 minutes to an hour even if you make an appointment.I truly believe that no one should go to this Doctors office if they have any other choice.
