So Far so good. I have a deep seated fear of the ob. All the appts have been pleasant a d supportative. The doctor also called me at my house.
One Star because I can't give ZERO stars. I would like to say that my bad experience has nothing to do with the people that work there. I thought I would have had a good experience seeing Elizabeth Ene, APRN, FNP-C because usually if they are under mentorship by a good MD then it's usually a good sign but this was not the case. Mind you, seeing an OBGYN in DFW as a new patient can take months! I have 3 other appointments with other OBGYNs lined up because you have to find the right one that hears you and wants to help you. I did an at home test that was mailed to Evvy (a vaginal microbiome website) and they gave me a diagnosis and she said well I can just give you a prescription. Like what?! I said well I don't know how legit they are so I would like to get tested here. Mind you, I log my PH every few days, I'm tracking my mood daily, etc. because I have been diagnosed with PMDD before many years ago and when I explained things I'm feeling and what I'm going through she suggested I should seek therapy (which is fine) BUT because I am almost 40 I know women are experiencing perimenopause earlier nowadays and it's not abnormal for someone to be depressed and perimenopausal. Also, you can experience symptoms that can disguise itself as BV or something like that and it's actually something else. And if I'm paying for the labs why can't the tests be offered to figure out if my hormone levels are good or whatever else? I had to keep talking about this subject in order to finally get a lab done. When you're going through changes in your personal life and body it can be hard to distinguish is it my body or my mind? So running tests to make sure your levels are good isn't too much to ask. It actually helps eliminate the questions that run through your mind. I had a late appointment on Monday and it's Thursday. I haven't heard from the doctor. I'm calling them and messaging them. I just want to say I have never waited this long for results - not even during my Planned Parenthood days when I had no insurance. I thought surely, I would hear something by Wednesday afternoon! Needless to say I have an appointment with another OBGYN on July 10th and by the time I hear back (IF I even do) it's not going to matter because I will probably have to call Teledoc and explain my symptoms and hope for the best. If someone is experiencing BV, yeast infections, or UTIs how do you justify making them wait this long? That's crazy! There are some type of labs that should have a 24-hour turnaround time. My family doctor (who retired) had labs to you on the same day if you had an early appointment (for illnesses and infections) or next day if it was an afternoon appointment. Oh well. What can you do.
I highly recommend this office for your OB needs! Everyone from start to finish that I have encountered has been welcoming, pleasant & professional. They make it easy to talk to abt your needs and any issues you are experiencing. The one big positive for me is they listen and don’t ignore you and ignore due to your age and say oh it’s because your old like many physicians do. I’m very pleased my my experience here and definitely recommend.
First visit was great but2nd and 3rd, she made me feel like I did something wrong. I got the pellets she suggested but my body rejected one of them. I was offered no other solution. Disappointed.
Appointment was completed less than 30 minutes. Rickky was very nice and friendly! N.A was kind and gentle as well as NP Elizabeth. Thank you team!!
I had a great experience at this practice with Nurse Practitioner Elizabeth Ene. From the moment I walked in, Rickky , to Ezmerlda was friendly and welcoming, making check-in a breeze. NP Ene was thorough, professional, and really took the time to listen to my concerns. I felt very comfortable during my visit and appreciated the care and attention I received. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for quality care!
DO NOT go here. I went in for a simple birth control refill only, 5 min appt and I was done. After appt Doctor sent my pee sample to a lab to be tested for 4 things I didn't ask for. Got a bill in the mail for $1,000 because the lab was out of network for me.
Great facility and the support from staffs is phenomenal. I love that the facility was modernized and clean. They also have free refreshments.
Don't let the good reviews fool you. I left my birth control consultation appointment sobbing. This was the most belittling, unprofessional experience I've ever had. I entered the building 10 minutes before my appointment to check in and there was a note saying the staff was gone for lunch and they didn't return until 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. I then was taken to a room and spoke with a very kind nurse. However, when Dr. Westerholm entered, she immediately seemed irritated. I scheduled the appointment because my mom had a history of blood clotting and was not allowed to be on estrogen options and I was curious if I should follow suit to be safe or if clotting wasn't something I should be worried about. Dr. Westerholm told me I should have known more details about my mom's medical history before asking and that if it was hereditary I had "much more to worry about." She also asked if I was currently sexually active which I said no to (I was getting on birth control a couple months prior to marriage, not unusual). Westerholm proceeded to launch into her personal beliefs on birth control insinuating that I was sexually active. She said that if I were her daughter she would have "already given me an IUD before I even graduated high school, she doesn't care how they feel." In addition to this I called back four times to receive my chosen method (that she never mentioned was an option) and my call was never answered or returned. I am not sure if that was just the worst day of Dr. Westerholm's life that made her act this way or if it's a regular occurrence, either way I will not be returning.
Unprofessional and rude.. I would not recommend them at all specially the receptionist.. I had gone in for a pellet application that I paid out of pocket which is 400 plus dollars plus they billed my insurance .. I called and asked what was discussed at my so called “office visit” to see why they had also billed my insurance.. I find that a bit too excessive.. They were all so rude including the doctor I didn’t even feel comfortable asking any questions.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
