If you have Tricare or Humana do not believe them when they say that they are in network. They must be running a scam where they tell you that they are in network and then make an appointment with a doctor that is not in network. DO NOT GO HERE. They will not correct their mistake they will force you to pay $150 for their workers mistake. I asked more than once if they were in network I don't know why they would do this.
**TL/ DR- sent me a message saying my appointment was "starting soon, please log in and wait" when they meant to send "your appointment is tomorrow" - then they got an attitude WITH ME and tried to charge me a no show fee to reschedule!? ***I can't stress enough how important it is to have competent CARING front office AND scheduling staff in a mental health setting. Patients suffering from mental health conditions are already struggling enough asking for help - they don't need to spar with someone in scheduling over an appointment starting reminder THEY sent out IN ERROR, after hours when it couldn't be verified. I ended up going to my local office and they took care of me just fine, but whoever handles the central scheduling there in Pasadena could use a lesson in customer service. She was so very rude and did nothing to try and help me find a solution- she said I couldn't talk to anyone, there was no one else to talk to, all she could do was "send a request" to see if the office manager at my location would be willing to do anything about it- so off I went out into the stormy weather and the health risk (defeating the entire purpose of the virtual visit I had scheduled) to handle it myself.
Texas Behavorial Health has a broad team of Doctors & Physicians who are readily available to work with their patients to meet their individual needs. Dr. Eric & Dr. Shahnaz were swift to reach out to us personally to make us feel welcome & come up with a treatment that we could all agree on. Thank you for your compassion.
This was the worst experience I've ever had with any doctor/NP in my entire life. Not exaggerating in the least. I'm posting this publicly - something I definitely don't want to do. That's how bad this is. If you had a similar experience, you can file a complaint with the medical board at the below link. tmb.state.tx.us/page/pla…So here's what happened.. I was trying to establish care after recently moving to Houston from out of state. I set an appointment with Oghale Mukoro through ZocDoc (she had 5/5 stars and was covered by my out of state insurance). TBH bypassed ZocDoc and texted me to fill out their forms online. First red flag. Second red flag was that these forms asking for my personal information were on a non secure site. My gut told me to stop, but my options were limited so I pressed on. Then, the forms crashed on me twice making me restart the entire process three times. I finished and submitted the forms prior to my appointment but they never went through to Oghale, except for my co-payment. That went through. Oghale was 10 minutes late. That's forgivable. But the way she treated me from start to me ending the appointment prematurely was not. She began by telling me she didn't get my forms (ugh) and then went straight to reading off a questionnaire. She didn't ask why I set up the appointment. She showed little concern and no bedside manner. She was indifferent, serious, and came off as being upset that I was on her screen. I was disheartened at this point. Never had I been treated so robotically and with such disregard for my wellbeing by someone in this field of medicine. I was frustrated and showed it. To my visible frustration, she didn't ask about what was wrong or any other open-ended question like she should have. Here is what she asked: "Are you tired? Or are you high?" Excuse me? Seriously, what did she just say? I was immediately and completely floored. She denied saying it when I asked her if she really just asked me if I was high. But I am 100% sure that is what she said. I stayed cool. I told her I was frustrated by the forms crashing, and her not getting the forms after they finally went through, and having to fill out personal and payment information on an insecure site, and the robotic questionnaire. She asked what I didn't like about the questionnaire. I replied saying the choices are too restrictive. She replied by saying something like "well that's what the questionnaire says." She then just jumped right back into the questionnaire. My goodness. I was pretty much past my last straw at this point but was still on the line grasping to whatever optimism I could find about seeing this through. She then told me she needs my labs every 6 months. Never have I had a BH practitioner ask for this. That's my primary care doctor's responsibility. I asked her about that and she gave me an explanation about "how will we know if you have a thyroid problem?" Okay, again, that's my primary doctors job. I would be open to it, but Oghale never established a relationship and I had no trust in her or this organization. That's when I just told her thank you for your time and I'm going to find a different doctor. I wish I had done more research. But I'm not going to blame myself for that. Oghale, and the supervising MD whoever that is, or if there is one, violated the Hippocratic Oath.So many of the above reasons alone are enough not to trust this place and person. All of them combined, it's a no brainer. I will never submit myself to this poor level of care again. I won't ignore the red flags and will trust my gut in the future. I hope this review helps anyone considering this practice for their care.
Do not waste your time here. They do not call back the providers are not the issue the issue is getting your message to the provider. Then when confronted with nobody has gotten back to and I have called several times they say oh well they tried calling you but you didn't answer. It's funny how the calls go through when they want to confirm my appointments. As soon as it's about a medical assistant or someone else it's they can't get ahold of me. If I missed the calls why aren't there any voicemails stating they called. I constantly have my phone so that's a lie. If you want prompt service do not come here. The problem is what if something bad would've happened while waiting for a call back. I finally had to get the office manger Kelly involved. Definitely going to start looking elsewhere for my mental health. Maybe my level of care is not something they can provide.
I came to see my options for ADD, I already had in mind some routes that would be given towards making some adjustments and steadied my expectations. That said, my times meeting with Ms. Engineer was greatly helpful and I was in no way did I ever feel like my options were ignored. Dreary front desk will be dreary. But they have a app for that so I didn't really get to much time with the front desk.
Caring, intelligent provides with good information for the patient. I have never had a problem getting an appointment. Providers listen and treat accordingly.
I thought the people would judge me. But i was so wrong, they didn't judge me they were very very kind an listen to what i had to saw. Completely, there judgement an suggestions were realistic an sound. An they worked with me in the program custom talered to fit me an my needs. An my situation. I suggested many freinds, to them an told them they didn't need to be ashamed to ask for help no one should.
I really like PA Miranda Sanchez. She has helped my son so very much, By taking the time to listen to him and myself (his mother). Only thing I think is lacking are the ladies that work the front. I feel that if your Ill in such away, that the first person you see are the ladies at the reception desk that do not greet you or even acknowledge you with a smile. I would Love to see that change. These people that go there are sick and I'm sure a little smile and Good morning or something wouldn't hurt them to do.After all they are the first people you are in contact with there. Please don't let this stop you from seeing the best Doctors and PA's there. P.S when you have an appointment you are called in right away. Give you or your loved one the opportunity to see one of these Professionals. You will be greatful that you did. Have a great day
Very professional and understanding team. I'm happy that Miranda Sanchez made me feel heard. I explained to her my symptoms and concerns and she heard me and prescribed me accordingly. She was very kind!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
