This location is downtown. They don't have parking and you need a meter. They have no website portal, so don't expect email confirmation. They require masks in 2023. AVOID AT ALL COST!!!

Worst staff up front (older lady with short wavy hair and glasses). She was rude and ignored me after the exam as I stood in front of her for about 3 minutes waiting to ask a question. I had to say “excuse me” before she would acknowledge me, and she shook her head no and went back to typing like I bothered her. I didn’t appreciate being treated so badly after being a paying customer. You are paying for a service and deserve dignity and respect. That being said, Dr Garza is amazing, humble, and thorough. If you can get past being treated horribly by the front receptionist, you get great care by the doctor. Don’t think I’ll be going back!

Have been coming for years. Dr’s. Ana and Claudia are amazing and thorough in their eye exams. The staff is so kind and you feel right at home.❤️

Came here as a work requirement for an eye exam. Amazing place. Very courteous and friendly staff. Great selection. I wish I had heard of them sooner and I would have made them my primary eye care center. I still might make the switch.

Staff helping choose glasses isn't helpful they only want to give you what they want. I couldn't choose my own. Upon picking up the woman with short hair at reception was rude when i asked to pick up my glasses. She was to busy chatting away told me just to sit and didn't bother asking for my name. When she was finally done talking she decides to ask for my name. Another person comes in and they attend her first before me to obtain her glasses. This was a very upsetting visit.

My first impression of the place was completely wrong! It's located in a shady/old part of McAllen..and you will have to carry quarters; at least $1.50 for parking. However, as soon as I stepped in I saw the office was extremally clean! The staff is also very friendly & professional :) My glasses arrived within a week. I was very happy with my visit and will come here again.

Our first impressions were excellent. Family of four, all of us needed eye exams, updated prescriptions, and glasses. We were in and out in sufficent time considering everything done. Doctor was great, staff were considerate and kind. I think we've finally found our family eye care doctor!
