Dr Havemann and her team helped our dreams come true and now our little boy is due in July next year. Two and a half years ago, this felt like a pipe dream, yet today we are 9 weeks and our little boy was dancing around on the ultrasound this morning. Still in utter disbelief that this is real and will probably continue to feel this way until we're holding him in our arms. Y'all - don't give up on your dreams, no matter how feeble they may seem. Give Dallas IVF a shot first, especially the McKinney location. They're an hour away from me and I had to make the drive sometimes 3x a week, but I would do it all over again. So infinitely worth it to see that little heartbeat on the screen <3

From our very first appointment, Dr. Havemann and Brittany made us feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Every question we had was answered with kindness and understanding, and we always felt like we were their top priority. I’m so thankful for Dallas IVF and Dr. Havemann! Even though my pregnancy happened naturally, they cared for me with such compassion and professionalism from the very start. Every nurse, the front desk staff, and the ultrasound tech were incredibly kind and made me feel safe and supported through each visit. The ultrasound tech is especially sweet and always made me feel calm and encouraged. From scheduling appointments to every check-up, the level of care and kindness was truly exceptional. I’m now transitioning to a regular OBGYN, but I honestly wish I could stay with Dallas IVF for my entire pregnancy. They made such a difference in my journey, and I’ll always be grateful for the warmth and care they showed me. 💕

When I was 3yo, I developed Wilms tumor- a rare form of kidney cancer. A nephrectomy was performed, immediately followed by 1/2 year of intense chemotherapy. My first recollection of memories was spent at the children's hospital, and I had little chance of survival. I was spared a second chance in life by a miracle. When I turned 21, I still never had a period! Doctors concluded I had reached menopause due to the radiation treatments I underwent as a child. Doctors told me I wasn't going to be able to conceive. I internally blocked the emotional pain and I remember telling myself that I didn't want to be a mom anyway, although internally, I was lying to myself to avoid the pain. On a blessed note, the rest of my organs were very healthy due to my daily habits and God's grace. 21 years later, I am now 42 years old, married to a wonderful husband who had more faith in me than myself. He knew the true desires of my heart. He noticed that Dallas IVF in McKinney was one of the few medical places that didn't force masks on the public, so we went to check them out. At first, I was very skeptical that I could get pregnant, but I kept the faith as Dr. Havemann told us I could get pregnant - of course her and her staff performed various tests to confirm that! In September 2024, I underwent my first embryo transfer, and was advised to rest for a day, then continue my daily activities but keep it light. When I learned that the baby didn't take, I was very frustrated, disappointed, and had lost almost all hope. I confronted them, expressing, "You guys told me I could get pregnant". The IVF staff and Dr. Havemann understood my frustration and advised me not to give up hope! I took the next 11 months to prepare my uterus for the next transfer. I appreciated how supportive the whole team here is!!! They accommodated me when I was hesitant to create a patient portal at first by using email, but I once I developed a relationship with the staff, I gave in to the portal and it's been helpful. The incredible nurses kept me in check throughout the months with my medication by creating a monthly medication calendar, and were available for any questions. In Aug 2025, I underwent my second embryo transfer. This time, I rested for two full days, took a few days off work, prayed, listened to jokes to laugh, kept my feet warm and cozy, spent more time outside, and the baby took! I thank the Lord, my husband, Dr. Havemann, and the angels at Dallas IVF because they believed in my capabilities more than I did and more than any other doctor ever did. They put up with my frustrations and still had my back. Now I am 10 weeks pregnant, and they have stayed constant in monitoring me, my hormones, and the baby. I cannot speak highly enough of every single staff member there. They are true miracle workers, and I will always have a special place for them in my heart. God bless!
