Literally saved my life when no doctor could figure out my POTS

Rude and condescending. Probably the worst doctor I've ever seen. Zero bedside manner.

Dr. Suleman and his team have been absolutely wonderful so far! The Heartbeat Clinic was a blessing to have come across because for the first time ever the symptoms I have been experiencing were, and are, being taking seriously. You can tell Dr.Suleman knows what he is talking about and genuinely wants to get to the root cause of each symptom. He is not pushy in any way and presents you with a number of options in which you, as the patient, can decide what you are or are not comfortable with. Genuinely a wonderful, wonderful doctor. He does not sugercoat or add unnecessary fluff to the things he says, and that's exactly what you would want from a doctor. I have come across many doctors before, but this is the first time I've come across one that proves with action that he cares and wants to help you find answers. It's almost impossible nowadays to find a doctor that is like Dr. Suleman! Direct, caring, to the point, and does not bs you. His team is also very gentle and caring, and they'll make you feel comfortable through each testing process you go through. I have not had any issues with wait times. Anything scheduled was either early or right on time. However, even if I would have had to wait, it'd still be 100% worth any wait time. Couldn't recommend this place enough! Thank you Dr. Suleman for caring enough to look deeper into each symptom and for taking your patients seriously! Thank you to the team that works alongside him to make this happen. You are an example other doctors and clinics should look up to and go by.

Saw Dr. Suleman for many years. He and his office were always invested in helping me get better. In the years that I have seen him I've only ever had one bad run in with a very rude billing person who I don't believe is there anymore. I was referred by my neurologist to him. He is an excellent diagnostician and the first to properly diagnose me after a 5+ year saga. There is ALWAYS a wait to see him so don't go here if you are not ok with a wait, make the time in your schedule for the wait. The reason there is always a wait is he spends the time he needs with his patients ---and he is one of maybe 3 specialists in the state that treats and is an expert in dysautonomia, POTS, EDS, and related disorders. It is obvious that he highly intelligent, works tirelessly, and has a large patient load. People come from out of state to see him because there are not enough physicians who have his credentials and are educated about dysautonomia, much less have the proper diagnostic and autonomic lab equipment to properly assess it. I whole heartedly recommend him and his office .

After 4 months of tests for everything under the sun, I had still never seen the actual doctor. Everything was done by his techs, so without my input and questions, I felt my tests were useless to me. He never returned my calls, so I could never know if my very unique problems were actually addressed. We had a total of two video visits (due to Covid, he refused to meet patients in person.) During our online visits, he had horrible computer problems, and I could barely hear or understand half of his interpretations. He exaggerated my symptoms. I've never felt more like a number in my life.

Dr. Suleman was incredibly late (an hour) for all three televisits. I find this incredibly disrespectful of patients valuable time. Further, he has zero "bedside" manner and is in a rush to get through his notes and off the call. I felt uncared for and hurried by him with every visit. I've blocked his offices phone number from reaching me and am disappointed that this is how people experience a cardiologist. My husband works in healthcare as an attorney and says its very clear Dr. Suleman is overbooked and only cares about the quantity of patience he can see, and cares nothing about the quality. Will not be returning to that office, and would NOT recommend it to anyone.

Dr. Suleman was late for my appointment with no apology. He did not take the time to understand my concerns or ask what I was hoping to get out of my appointment. He was impersonal and provided his diagnosis through chat and asked me to read it. He was more interested in his phone than talking to me. He then put himself on mute for 10 minutes and came back and asked to close our conversation. I had more questions, he replied in the chat again and didn't provide any care or clear plan to help me. He ended the call saying, "can i close the chat now". There was no engagement or personal care or anything you would expect from a good doctor. If you are looking for quality. Don't go here and don't see this doctor.

I've been a patient for over 15 years and currently have my third pacemaker. Dr. Suleman does do a lot of testing gathering data that is needed for the proper treatment. You will need to set aside time for your appointment they usually run a little late. This I've learned over the yeas is due to his concern for the patient. I wouldn't want it any other way. I thank Father for putting this man in my life. If you've cardio issues, I highly recommend Dr. Suleman
