List of Faisal Wahid Md's Reviews
Met Dr Wahid when my husband became his patient and was so impressed with him and his staff, I switched my cardiologist to his office. He and his staff are professional and make me feel so comfortable. If I need a prescription refill, they are quick to get the request to the pharmacy and if I call and leave a message, they call me back quickly. I recently moved further away (almost an hour drive) but will continue to go to Dr Wahid and his staff!
I wouldn't be alive today, if dr.Wahid hadn't arrive quickly to the hospital, where I was taken after a heart attack. Fourteen years later, dr. Wahid and his terrific Staff keeps me at A+ conditions. I can't find words good enough to describe my great experience with the doctor and the personnel of his office. Just a two days ago, I had another, periodic ultrasound at Texas Institute of Cardiology. I can tell you, the person who performs the ultrasound is not only highly skilled professional, but emanates the power of healing. Her knowledge, her soft gorgeous voice, and eyes "radiation" always makes me feel, that I didn't only get a test, but some powerful, spiritual therapy. I live only 15 miles away from Texas Institute of Cardiology, but even it that was 200 miles I wouldn't even hesitate to keep coming to see Dr.Wahid and his phenomenal Staff. I wish everyone with any heart issue to find clinic similar to this one, however, I know, it wouldn't be very easy.
As an old patient of Dr.Wahid I have to say, I couldn't be more lucky than ending up in hands of this highest class specialist. He saved my life 14 years ago, and keeps me going, and taking excellent care of me till now. Going to his office for follow up visits is like visiting close family. Just to see the doctor and his staff always makes me fell better, and if a procedure is needed, I get it immediately. This is care that every patient can dream about. Thank you all at Texas Institute of Cardiology
Dr. Wahid has been my cardiologist for 15 years now. He became my husbands cardiologist about 7 years ago. We both feel very safe and comfortable with him and his practice. He is a very caring physician who takes time with his patients. His staff is very well trained and it is very convenient to have stress tests and echo-cardiograms done right there in the office. His office is right across from the Baylor, Scott, White hospital in McKinney, so when my husband was hospitalized it was so convenient and comforting to have him so close. Thank-you Dr. Wahid!
I know Dr.Wahid, his office, and his staff, because I assist his patient as a driver and personal caregiver. Every time I visit the office, I'm more impressed with the doctor, his staff and office operation. Doctor knows his patients very well, he comes to waiting room greeting everyone, he knows me and other personal assistants. He makes sure that I know everything about my patient's medications, his procedures schedule, and always asks me, if I have any issues, questions, or how am I doing. My heart is good , so far, but if I'd have a heart issue, I'd know where to come. Heart disease is definitely no fun, but I see patients leaving Dr.Wahid office with a big smiles on their faces, I think it means something more than good.
I spent my summer working at the Texas Institute of Cardiology and have nothing but good things to say about the entire experience. Dr. Wahid is highly accredited for good reason, he welcomes every person who enters the clinic whether it’s a patient, staff member, or student. While working the front desk, I heard patients and their family members praising Dr. Wahid and the staff every day from the time they walked in until they walked out. His patients trust him literally with their lives and see the kindness and dedication he has for each and every one of them. Referring physicians and representatives have massive amounts of respect for the clinic and eagerly send people our way knowing that the team will go above and beyond expectations. The whole staff is so fun and warm-hearted, they were always willing to teach me something new and showed that they genuinely cared about me. The testing specialists were happy to show me behind-the-scenes action, listen to every silly question, and explain every little detail. I really got the full package interning here, there wasn’t a single day that dragged on because I genuinely loved every part of it and learned so much. The doctor, the staff, and the patients would constantly encourage me and tell me how great I’m going to do in the future and now I know that is true because of my time working at the Texas Institute of Cardiology.
I had traumatic experience.Dr Wahid was not wearing mask. His assistant took incorrect EKG and Dr Wahid told me that I might be having heart attack. But he will do angiogram next morning. It did not make sense to me if he suspect that I am having heart attack why he will do angiogram next morning. Why he did not call 911. Since then, I took opinion from several cardiologists, and they told me that I am not in any immediate danger of death and angiogram is not needed as I have no symptoms. Dr Wahids’ interaction cause me serious mental trauma and took a while to write review. I would not recommend him at all.
It's been over eleven years since Dr.Wahid brought me back to life after massive heart attack. You may ask me if he is a good doctor, so let me tell you, I'm currently 7,000 miles away from his office and still feel that he is watching me and really cares. I hope, you'll understand given 5 stars, and I wish I could give many more. Thank you doc, you're my angel. March 2021, It's been over a year since my last review, and I think, I have to add a few more words. I'm approaching 13 years of happy life after near death experience. I'm not only alive for the last 13 years, but at the 73 year of age, I travel the world and enjoy life in many ways. Recently I visited Dr.Wahid again. I had minor complaint about some discomfort in the chest. Dr.Wahid got into the action immediately, corrected the problem, and I'm again ready to fly. I feel better than twenty years ago. The 13 years after the heart attack, and the number 13 is the lucky number thanks to Dr.Wahid. Doc, I don't know how to express my appreciation to all your efforts, to your phenomenal staff that include great ultrasound specialist Dr.Ali, and fantastic health organization you've created. This is my another 5 Star review, but seams like I can only amend the previous review, and can't display another 5 Stars.
It says we accept new patients on Molina website, when I called in for Scheduling an appointment the doctor office said we don’t accept patients from Molina insurance. (SMH).
Doctor Wahid is a top notch cardiologist that spends time listening and explaining things. I’ve been to four other cardiologist that all told me there was nothing wrong with my heart. One trip to the ER and Dr Wahid was the attending that day. He found a blockage and fixed it. I’m glad he was there. I highly recommend him. The office staff is always courteous and very professional.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process.
