Dr Gilliland took a mess made by another surgeon and turned it into a complete success. He is kind, expert at difficult surgeries and patient. He uses the latest techniques to correct whatever problem the patient presents with including showing the pt. what he expects to achieve with an illustration created by advanced software on a tablet. I am not finished with my case, yet I look so good, i can’t believe the image I see in the mirror when I see myself. I also get the feeling that he gets joy from his work—a real pleasure to experience in today’s high tech hurry-up impersonal medical world. I can say without hesitation that my experience with Dr. Gilliland and his staff has been entirely positive and the surgical results have been amazing.

Dr. Gilliland is an amazing and gifted surgeon. He is very knowledgeable and experienced. He took his time and thoroughly explained the procedure in advance. Carole is professional and excellent at handling the details. She, too, was patient and answered all my questions. I couldn’t be more pleased with both of them.

I had an orbital fracture blowout, that happened when I was overseas. Time frame critical for surgery. Returned to the USA on Monday saw him on Tuesday and had surgery within the week. Outstanding communication explaining the surgery in detail. Never had such confidence in a doctor so quickly. Surgery was incredibly successful you would never know I have a titanium eye socket. USE HIM he is outstanding in every way.

Dr. Gilliland is an outstanding surgeon. I had a brain tumor which was also in the eye socket bone, wrapping around the occular nerve and muscle. He removed the tumor, rebuilt my eye socket with titanium and saved my eye. I am so thankful to Dr. Gilliland for his care and superior surgical skills. He is very straightforward and provided answers to all my questions. I highly recommend Dr. Gilliland.
