John Prudich's Online Review Report Card

All I can say is that Dr.Prudich is an amazing man. He fixed my wife's knee and she told me he was amazing. Today I saw that for myself. If medical school had a "Class" on proper bedside manners then it would have been written by Dr.Prudich. McKinney, TX should feel BLESSED to have this man serving the community. PS: His staff is AMAZING also....The best folks I have ever worked with in a medical office. Dr. Prudich is a lucky man!

I sure wish all doctors (or at least most of them) gave a flip about their patients like Dr. Prudich and Karen do, It is almost impossible to find people like this anymore. Good, caring, intelligent, competent, trustworthy health care providers. You just won't be looking elsewhere.

I have gone here all my life for every injury, and so has my family. They are friendly, funny, and honest. Always takes great care of us.

I was referred by a good friend to this Dr. in 2012. The office staff was great. Office very clean. Had 2 surgeries done a two the same time by Dr. Prudich then. I’ve had to return this year and through the years the office staff still treat me like family. Dr. Prudich is down to earth kinda guy with a great sense of humor. When staff found out my daughter passed away and husband became ill. When my follow up appointment everyone was right there with me.

Doctor and office staff were to the point. Everyone had a great sense of humor and you could tell they knew what they were doing. Great experience.

Staff very friendly. Doctor didn’t seems to care about my issue. Did nothing, weeks later still have pain. Didn’t want to treat me unless it was surgery, said I wasn’t to that point yet. But didn’t give alternative treatment.

Simply put, Dr. Prudich isn't for us. After hunting for the best wrist doctor in the area, I convinced my husband to schedule an appointment to get the lump in his wrist examined. All the positive reviews across multiple platforms made me think this would be a good decision. We were able to be seen within a few days but at our visit, everything went downhill fast and we won't be returning. First off, the front desk ladies were wonderful. They're super kind and cordial and they're the only positive thing about this whole experience. Once in the room, the nurse took a look at my husband's wrist, confirmed my suspicion that it was a ganglion cyst, and said they could slap a bible on it. We laughed thinking she was kidding as she left the room. Then, the doctor, after a strange first encounter that I'll get into in a sec, came in and said the same thing. Um, no. I do not want you taking a "soft bible" and whacking my husband's wrist. You can get blood poisoning by popping a cyst like that and we aren't living in archaic (or ahem, biblical) times. After dismissing that option, he said he could cut it out or drain it and left that decision to us with no advice beyond the success rate. Typically, doctors give their impression on what's the best, medically necessary course of action. We didn't get that. He just seemed like he wanted to beat the blood of Jesus into his wrist and call it a day. The treatment plan was less than desirable but his first impression when he entered the room was worse. It's very off-putting when the doctor stands in the doorway, stares at me, stares at my husband, and then says, "y'know you can take those things [masks] off..." We're aware, but no thanks. There was no "hello" or "how are ya," and as my husband later put it on the car ride home, this doctor "didn't want anything to do with us" based on his demeanor. If you're looking for real medical advice and treatment, look elsewhere. I can't fathom how this guy has so many positive reviews if this is how we treats people and their medical issues.

Update, I dislocated my kneecap again and had to go back to prudich he told me I might need surgery and we would be able to tell after a bit. At my checkup appointment I fully expected to need a clean out surgery but Dr prudich said that if wasn't necessary and only thing surgery would do was pad his pocket. I'm so happy to have gone to such an honest doctor. Old review: John Prudich is hands down the best. He makes your visits fun but is still serious and knows exactly what he's doing. I've been going to him for 16 years. He reset my bones when I broke my ankle and has helped me with kneecap dislocation on 3 occasions. He fixed my dad's torn acl and has preformed flawless surgeries on several of my friends. I highly recommend this doctor and will be so sad when he retires.

Amazing! Dr. Prudich and his stuff are so compassionate and they care about your wellness. They make you feel like a person not just a another patient. I had rotator cuff tear repair. The best orthopedic care you can find in the Dallas area. Dr. Prudich has been my doctor for 16 years and I won't go anywhere else. Dr. P has diagnosed and treated several issues that other doctors (even specialists) couldn't figure out. The staff there treats you like family- and they really do feel like family.
