MIchael Wiebel's Online Review Report Card

I saw him for a very specific sinus issue which he recommended allergy testing/shots (for the next 2 years!). When I asked him specifically if allergy shots would address my issues he said it definitely would. I did not feel confident in his diagnosis/treatment so I saw another ENT in Dallas, Dr. Presley Mock. Almost immediately during my 1st appt Dr. Mock indicated I had a deviated septum & nasal polyps, Dr. Wiebel NEVER mentioned this when he did the exact same examination nor did he suggest doing imaging for a definitive diagnosis. Dr. Mock recommended a course of treatment, imaging, etc., which eventually resulted in me having sinus surgery about a month ago. In his words he said I was a "poster child for this type of surgery" & once fully recovered I would feel like a new person & have significant relief. At no time did Dr. Wiebel indicate anything related to the diagnosis I received from Dr. Mock. I can not recommend Dr. Wiebel due to his lack of comprehensive treatment/diagnosis

Excellent! Kind, professional, patient. Answered all of our questions and explained everything to us in detail. Definitely recommend him!

NOT RECOMMENED . MY MOM HAS MEDICARE AS A PRIMARY AND MEDICAID QMP AS A SECONDARY AND I ASKED THE OFFICE IF THEY TAKE IT AND THEY SAY YES . THEN WE GOT A BILL LATER AND WHEN I CALLED THEY SAID THAT THEY DON'T ACCEPT MEDICIAD IF THOUGH I DID VERIFIED WITH THEM . SOME WHERE OR SOMEONE IS INCOMPETATNT ENOUGH DO NOT HOW TO DO THIER JOB .

I took him to see another group of ENTs and his doctor ordered a CT scan and informed me that one of his sinus cavities was missing an entire wall (surgically removed) and this would cause him to have problems for the rest of his life unless he had a revision surgery to repair it. I would not see this doctor for sinus surgery.

My wife has earwax buildup and Dr. Wiebel was very caring and gentle with her. She has Parkinson's and some dementia and he carefully explains to her what he is about to do. I would highly recommend Dr. Wiebel!
